Cort was a beast on day 2 of the state tournament. He continued his amazing shooting weekend by hitting 5 threes in his first game today. He is truly a talented player and can score from all levels. He does most of his scoring by getting to his mid-range hot spots and hitting them with ease. He can also move off the ball and get open from three, where he can also make them at a high rate. He is definitely someone who will have a fantastic summer leading into his sophomore year.

Cort was lights out from three today. He started his first game knocking down a deep three and followed it up by finishing a tough and one layup. He was also in every passing lane, getting multiple steals that led to either him or his teammates finishing in transition. He continued this into the second half by hitting 3 more threes and making a midrange fadeaway. His offense was incredible, but his defense is what made him stand out. Being able to run around the court, getting rebounds, stealing passes, and falling on the ground all while barely getting tired is what amazed me. It seemed like he was never tired, which amazed me.

Watched the slashing combo guard at late night game on Friday. Confident and consistent scorer from beyond the arc. Handling wise broke down defenders with good pace and hesitation to create space. Made solid drive and kick reads contributing as a playmaker to keep team in game. Defensively got after it with extra effort diving for loose balls. Overall a strong versatile scorer with good feel and a competitive spirit.
