[program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Sixers' last='Elite'] 78, [program_tooltip program_id='2076027' first='Wisconsin' last='Blizzard'] - Welson 54 (17U)

The Blizzard hit shots from deep early and stayed within 40-31 at halftime, but the Sixers used balanced scoring, strong ball movement and effective cuts to the basket to pull away in the second half. Playing without standouts [player_tooltip player_id='2226077' first='Gabe' last='Servais'] of La Crosse Central and [player_tooltip player_id='3430776' first='Elliott' last='Corcoran'] of West Salem didn't slow the Sixers, who used a strong showing from [player_tooltip player_id='2833128' first='Jayden' last='Bartels'] of Holmen to comfortably stay in front of the Blizzard. Bartels finished with 21 points and scored 14 in the first half. He had five three-point baskets while also getting to the line off aggressive moves to the basket. Holmen teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2842455' first='Jax' last='Meyer'] also played well for the Sixers as he had 17 points while [player_tooltip player_id='3434281' first='Ezra' last='Wiese'] of La Crosse Central also had 17 points. James Ramsey of Winona, Minnesota, came off the bench to score 13 points while throwing down three massive dunks.

The Blizzard simply could not match the firepower of the Sixers, but the squad did get an eye-opening performance from [player_tooltip player_id='2386259' first='Benjamin' last='Ash'] of Sturgeon Bay. The 5-foot-11 lead guard scored 30 points and swished six three-point baskets. A second-team all-league pick in the Packerland Conference last winter, Ash also scored with an effective floater in the lane. Campbellsport junior [player_tooltip player_id='3019310' first='Carter' last='Gellings'] came off the bench for the Blizzard and provided some offensive punch with 11 points.

Boxscore

[program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Sixers' last='Elite'] (40-38 = 78)
Reister 6, Hauser 4, Meyer 17, Wiese 17, Ramsey 13, Popp 0, Alexander 0, Bartels 21.
[program_tooltip program_id='2076025' first='Wisconsin' last='Blaze'] Inferno 66, JAG Fieldhouse - Pica 51 (17U)

One of the more competitive games of the evening, the Blaze pulled away over the final few minutes to notch an impressive win over a JAG squad that continues to improve. New London wing [player_tooltip player_id='2387053' first='Ryan' last='Dalhoe'] (6-5) scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half to spark the Blaze, who also used a 1-3-1 zone defense for a brief period in the second half to throw the JAG off its game a bit. Dalhoe hit a couple of triples in the second half and also soared to the basket twice as the JAG had a hard time handling the standout performer. Manawa guard [player_tooltip player_id='2381570' first='Vincente' last='Timm'] (6-1) also had a strong all-around game for the Blaze. He scored 12 points, hit two triples, rebounded well and used his physical strength on defense to help keep opponents out of the lane. Laconia forward [player_tooltip player_id='2628291' first='Mason' last='Langenfeld'] (6-3) and Winnebago Lutheran guard [player_tooltip player_id='2381565' first='Isaac' last='LaMotte'] (6-0) contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Reedsburg's [player_tooltip player_id='2815284' first='Nehemiah' last='Guy'] (6-0) got to the basket well all game for the JAG and finished with a team-best 15 points. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln guard [player_tooltip player_id='2830630' first='Zak' last='Mancl'] (5-11) added 10 points and [player_tooltip player_id='3023016' first='Peyton' last='Ruesch'] (6-2), also of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, added nine points. The JAG made all eight of its free-throw tries to stick around, but had a hard time keeping the taller Blaze players off the glass.

Boxscore

[program_tooltip program_id='2076025' first='Wisconsin' last='Blaze'] Inferno (28-38 = 66)
Hron 5, Lang 0, LaMotte 10, Zielke 2, Langenfeld 11, Dalhoe 16, DeNoble-Winkel 7, Nordin 3, Timm 12. Ray Allen led by 24 and intermission before extending the margin to 29 points by the end of the game. [player_tooltip player_id='2527327' first='Dominick' last='Castro'] (5-11) of Kettle Moraine had 10 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2839727' first='Carter' last='Nejedlo'] (5-9) of Sussex Hamilton hit some threes late and ended with 11 points to lead Ray Allen, which also got eight first-half points from [player_tooltip player_id='2407890' first='Zion' last='Vale'] (6-1) of Waukesha West. [player_tooltip player_id='2801470' first='Jordan' last='Schroeder'] (6-3), also of Waukesha West, had two field goals and made all four of his foul shots while [player_tooltip player_id='2839503' first='Jordan' last='Guilette'] (6-3), another Waukesha West student, scored all eight of his points before intermission.

CBA got seven points and a three-point basket from sophomore forward Karl Wycklendt (6-2).

Boxscore

[program_tooltip program_id='2075807' first='Ray' last='Allen Select'] (45-14 = 59)
Schroeder 8, Castro 10, Nejedlo 11, LaValle 5, Vale 8, Zimmer 6, Guilette 8, Konkol 4.
