Now that the weekend is in the rearview mirror it is time to start highlighting some of the top individual performers that we had the chance to evaluate. The Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland brought a lot of talent to Legacy Courts in Lafayette. Our scouting staff was there to see it all on Saturday and Sunday which means we have a lot to get to in terms of content over the course of this week. Here are some of the standouts from the annual Havoc in the Heartland event.

Indiana's Class of 2029 is shaping up to be a pretty good one. Brown, a 6'7" center from Gary Lighthouse High School, has solidified himself as one of the top big men in the class statewide. He had a very strong showing with Progeny UAA 15u over the weekend dominating the paint, cleaning the glass, and consistently protecting the rim. There is a lot of two-way upside to follow with him.

It was good to see Hartman's continued improvement this weekend at Havoc in the Heartland. Playing up a year with [player_tooltip player_id='2860120' first='Midwest' last='Stars'] 17u, the 6'2" sophomore guard went off for 25 points in a win on Saturday while we were watching. His ability to consistently beat his man off of the dribble and finish with athleticism in the paint was very impressive. Keep an eye on him in the Class of 2028.

Another weekend, another excellent performance for this Whiteland High School guard. Kalkat has been a major stock-riser this spring catching the attention of many college coaches. His athleticism off of the bounce, scoring efficient from all three levels, and consistent poise really has allowed him to blossom. He scored 23 points in [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 17u's win over Progeny UAA 17u on Sunday. Division II/Division III/NAIA schools should continuing watching him into the summer.

It was an outstanding weekend for Progeny UA Grind 17u. They went 5-0 which included an impressive victory over Progeny UAA 17u as well. Nover, a 6'4" guard from Carmel High School, was one of the top performers along the way. He averaged 15.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game at Havoc in the Heartland. Nover's shooting ability, especially as a catch-and-shoot threat from three-point range, is very impressive.

On an individual level, Schelle turned in one of the most impressive performances of the weekend at the Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland. He scored 34 points in a tough, one-point loss on Saturday and made 11 three-point shots in two games on the day. Schelle finished with 15 made three-point shots on the weekend and averaged 24.0 points per game for [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] 17u.

College coaches don't spend a lot of time watching the younger classes anymore, even during the live period, but Vogt is one that will probably get at least a few Division I eyes on him this coming weekend. His performance at Havoc in the Heartland helped create a good deal of buzz. The 6'5" guard is without a doubt one of the best shooters in the state of Indiana.
