Sioux Falls. [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] GVR opened the weekend with a pair of wins beating [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] and SSA White before falling to a good Heiser Sports Academy team. They also had a game with Rapid City Venom ended early because of a fierce tornado warning (which is definitely a first that I can recall).

[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Hibbs was also in Pool A in Sioux Falls and they had a 3-1 weekend. They beat [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'], had a hard fought win over Heiser Academy, beat a team from Rapid City and lost a two score game to SSA White. Minnesota Rise Hulke went undefeated in Sioux Falls beating four local teams at their level of play in impressive fashion.

Fury Shootout. The local event last weekend was the annual Fury Shootout. The event was won by the [program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] who lost to WOTN Foley to start but then bounced back to win four straight including a win over WOTN Foley in the Sunday title game. Very good showing by the Magic getting into the top 25!

Fort Wayne. The Minnesota weekend kicked off well for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] beating Dream Vision and Indiana Elite, two well known names in the AAU world. D1 MN then lost to Phenom United and BABC to end the weekend so it was another 3SSB split for Minnesota's top team.

Dallas. [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] has been the hot name in Minnesota lately but they cooled off in the South losing to OBG, Family Over Everything, and Team Rampage out of California. They did beat tthe Colorado Titans by 11 to get to 1-3 on the weekend. Also in Dallas, Elevate Skills won all four of their games in E32 play.

Kansas City. Fury Goring won all four of their games by a combined 72 points. The closest game was a 12 point win over Chapman North out of Wisconsin. Fury Goring became the first team to 20 wins in 17u this year although Fury Zurn was the second to hit the mark a day later. Young & Reckless and Alabama Celtics were among the Zurn victims. Another 4-0 team in KC was the Northstar TItans who was in Pool D and the games weren't close: 81-38, 71-47, 76-49 and then one close game in a one score game.

Also undefeated, playing in Pool C, the [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. The Comets games were a bit closer than some of the others as they battled for three single digit wins and a 15 point win in league play. Also undefeated without much for close games? That was the Southwest Minnesota Stars who beat every team they played by double digits. Minnesota Rise won their first four games against teams in their pool by a combined 94 points. They got a chance to play a higher pool team RBC in a later game and lost but it was a 4-1 weekend.

Cincinnati. Hoop Habits has a nice winning streak going on as they have been undefeated in their last three events. This past weekend they crushed teams from Peak Basketball and Hoop Atlanta, they beat a good Indiana Game program by 15, and won a close game over Dallas Showtyme.

Baltimore. Made Hoops was in their home territory with a huge event and [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] earned themselves three wins in that event. They beat Rising Stars, Crown and My Basketball Academy but lost to a team from Florida.

Tulsa. Another 4-0 Minnesota team was Real Phenom in Tulsa. They beat a team from Australia by a point, knocked off a Kansas team by 16, beat another Kansas team only this one was also a one point win, and they beat United Persult by five points.

Memphis. [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] was back in EYCL play this past weekend after a rough previous weekend in EYCL play. Pulley lost 103-57 to the New York Rens on Friday, they lost to Grassroots Elite by four and to URNKD Hoops by 14 on Saturday, and then fell to Legynds 110-66 on Sunday.

Round Rock. Surprise Surprise we have another 4-0 team from Minnesota. The Minnesota Gold squad was in Texas and they obliterated everything Adidas Gold put in their way. They beat Progress Only…. Lol…. 66-30, they had two 47-27 games, and a 56-37 win over Slam City Elite. Very good guard play from Minnesota Gold led by [player_tooltip player_id='2140649' first='Keishaun' last='Rolle'] and Will McQuay.
