DMV Live: Florida Under the Radar Prospects

College coaches at all levels were on the road throughout the country this weekend for the May evaluation period, and many made their way to Baltimore for DMV Live. Several of Florida's top travel programs were in attendance as well, giving prospects another opportunity to perform in front of college staffs from every level. Here is a look at some under the radar prospects that stood out from the action at DMV Live.    Smith was one of the more impressive scoring guards we evaluated Saturday morning in Baltimore. The 6'4 junior finished with 12 points while showcasing his ability to attack the rim and finish effectively in the paint. He also knocked down perimeter shots from beyond the arc, giving him the ability to score at multiple levels offensively. Smith combines above average quickness with athleticism that allows him to finish above the rim, and he rebounds very well from the perimeter for a guard. With his blend of size, athleticism, and offensive upside, he is a prospect who will make an appearance in our updated rankings next week.     Smith's teammate with All Ball, Jakopin added 11 points in the game we watched on Saturday while continuing to show the value of his all around offensive game. A wing with good positional size and a high basketball IQ, he consistently made smart plays and impacted the game within the flow of the offense. Jakopin showed the ability to get to the rim off the dribble while also knocking down open perimeter shots from beyond the arc. The All-County selection for Cooper City averaged more than 11 points per game this season and continues to emerge as a reliable, skilled wing prospect with versatility and feel.     Tchabo is an aggressive combo forward who brings a strong blend of size, athleticism, and versatility to the floor. A high level athlete, he consistently impacts the game with his activity level and energy on both ends of the court. Tchabo also shows impressive ball handling ability for his size, allowing him to attack off the bounce and create matchup problems in transition and from the perimeter. He finished with 10 points in a loss for [program_tooltip program_id='2863450' first='Tre' last='Mann Elite'] MHC while continuing to showcase his upside as a versatile frontcourt prospect.     Rodriguez is a skilled ball handling guard who can impact the game as both a scorer and distributor. An excellent passer with a high basketball IQ, he consistently makes smart reads and does a very good job creating opportunities for teammates. Rodriguez is also a capable perimeter shot maker with range beyond the arc and understands how to effectively use ball screens to create offense for himself or others. His feel for the game, decision making, and versatility with the basketball in his hands make him a promising prospect in the 2028 recruiting class.     Another member of All Ball's talented 16u team, Knights recently reclassed into the 2028 class and continues to emerge as a very intriguing young prospect. The scoring wing finished with 14 points in the game we evaluated on Saturday while showcasing his aggressive offensive mentality and ability to score at multiple levels. Knights is extremely effective in transition, where his speed and attacking mindset consistently put pressure on defenses. He gets to the rim very well off the dribble, can score through contact, and also showed the ability to score in the post against smaller defenders. In addition, he is a reliable perimeter shot maker with range.
