[player_tooltip player_id='2984003' first='Narayan' last='Varma'], at first glance, is an elite shooter. When his feet are set, you can count the shot. His ability to beat defenders and pull up for mid-range jumpers makes him difficult to guard. He also has an explosive burst that allows him to get to the rim and finish. He's flat-out solid in so many ways: he rebounds, facilitates and plays aggressive defense, which allowed him to intimidate opposing guards and create turnovers all weekend. Varma will attract plenty of interest for his full-spectrum hoop abilities.

Settimo Yugu was one of the most active bigs of the weekend, creating havoc on both ends. He's a consistent lob threat and, even on post opportunities, displays elite footwork and strength, especially when facing bigger opponents. He reads the game, moves into spaces that create chances for guards, and crashes the boards. He's stacking impressive performances, and coaches will covet his size and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252240' first='Aiden' last='Groce'] is an obvious selection for next-level potential because of the multiple layers to his game. In three games In one game i watched him carry an on-ball scoring load, the next he facilitated as a primary ball-handler, and in each he locked in on the toughest defensive assignments, , all with a banker's demeanor. He's calm under pressure, aggressive on defense, and precise in offensive sets and decision-making. His 16 points and five assists vs. JL3 were huge in a rivalry game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252457' first='Marri' last='Wesley'] delivered another string of consistent performances and filled stat sheets where needed. He's a big wing who brings versatility to the AB roster. Wesley is an efficient scorer who doesn't need the ball to impact the game; his intangibles are the cornerstone of his value to next-level programs. He can step in immediately as a lead defender, dedicated facilitator, or a 10–16 point scorer. His size and athleticism translate right away, and he's a surefire stock riser this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2557667' first='Jex' last='Taylor'] caught my eye on Court 8 with his on-court intensity and three-point shooting. He's an active player who works constantly while on the floor. He shows bursts of quickness that help him defend at a high level. Taylor checks a lot of boxes, both tangible and intangible, and should be even more productive as the AAU season matures.
