Great Lakes Finals: Lights Out Shooters From Saturday

He is a smooth operator on the offensive end and plays with a great amount of patience. He was pouring in both jumpers and three-pointers, and I liked how he didn't really force anything. Giles is also a guard who can get to the cup whenever there is a driving lane available. He is constantly hunting shots on the offensive end and utilizes his textbook shooting form to consistently get the job done. In I-88's game on Saturday, he was draining one triple after another, which helped his team pull ahead while also giving them a major boost of momentum. He was making defenses pay from the perimeter, and it was evident that he was feeling it offensively. You can see that there is real touch on his jumper, and he is capable of splashing in shots from way downtown. In addition to his scoring prowess, Bainborn also has the size that college coaches typically look for at around 6-foot-4, and he will likely become an even more difficult player to contain as he continues to fill out his frame. He has a very smooth shooting stroke and is extremely consistent with his release, which allows him to knock down multiple three-pointers in a hurry. He is simply not the type of prospect that you want to leave open. In addition, I liked how poised he looked offensively and how he let the game come to him instead of forcing the action. Then, with only 20 seconds on the clock, he buried what turned out to be the game winner after slipping off a screen and knocking down a shot from downtown.
