Day 2 was just as good as day 1 from the 15u group in New Berlin. There were many top performers, down-to-the-wire games, and highlight plays. Here are the five players from today who stood out.

When his team needed a player to step up, Jon answered. Despite coming off the bench, Jon was ready to help contribute to helping his team win. He started knocking down 2 threes as soon as he checked in and polished it off with a fast break layup to extend his team's lead to end the half, but he wasn't done yet. Once he checked back in, he drained 3 more threes and had a couple of offensive rebounds that ended up in layups for him and his teammates. This is what the Wind Point Wave needed from the bench in their first game of the day. With Jon's fire, they were able to secure the win as he was the second leading scorer for the game.

Despite the tough loss, Spencer wasn't going down without a fight. In the first half against [program_tooltip program_id='3502082' first='Team' last='Compete'], Spencer started his scoring by knocking down a three and pairing it with a fast break layup. He was also relentless, causing multiple jump balls and turnovers. The second half is where he really took off. He came out of the gate firing, hitting another three and pulling up midrange. He followed that up with multiple tough layups and some and-one opportunities. He also hit a tough and one to bring his team within 2 with 4 minutes left. This kid is the definition of playing until the final buzzer, as he was still going for loose balls and scoring opportunities even when the deficit was getting out of reach.

In today's game against Team Limitless, [player_tooltip player_id='3566574' first='Roman' last='Grant'] looked like a giant out there. Coming off the bench, his main purpose was to set screens and grab rebounds, but he proved he can do more than that. While in the game, he snagged multiple offensive rebounds that led to him or his teammates scoring. He was an immovable force on defense as he collected back-to-back clutch blocks and forced multiple missed shots. What really impressed me was his ability to find wide-open teammates while being double-teamed. He found wide-open teammates cutting to the hoop and had a no-look pass that ended in an and-one for one of his teammates. He is definitely a player you want to have on your team, as he brings competitiveness but also positivity.

If I were to describe the ultimate glue guy, that would be Jude. He can rebound both offensively and defensively at a high rate while also turning those into scoring opportunities. With his height, he was able to force multiple difficult shots and tally some blocks. He also showcased his ability to score by being an efficient pick-and-roller and running in transition, getting fast-break layups. He is also a very great hustle player as he sprinted back on defense and stopped fast-break scoring chances for his opponents.

Korben was very impressive in his games with [program_tooltip program_id='2139004' first='Team' last='Haliburton']. He is the main ball handler, and with that comes serious responsibility. He was able to collect a handful of assists and would pass up a good shot for an even better shot for his teammates. While being the main ball handler, he is also an excellent scorer. He can create his own shot and get to his spots on the floor while converting at a high percentage. Pass-first guards like him are the most important to have on the floor. Being able to score from the midrange to the three-point line while also finding teammates is what makes him such a special player.
