6-1, long and athletic, Blanchard impressed with his ability to make tough catches and finish around the hoop, not only on the break, but in half courts sets. When not finishing at the rim, Blanchard showed nice touch from 10 feet and out helping to keep his defender honest. Blanchard also competed on the boards showing high level passing ability often finding teammates for deep outlets leading to layups.

When his team needed a player to step up, Jon answered. Despite coming off the bench, Jon was ready to help contribute to helping his team win. He started knocking down 2 threes as soon as he checked in and polished it off with a fast break layup to extend his team’s lead to end the half, but he wasn’t done yet. Once he checked back in, he drained 3 more threes and had a couple of offensive rebounds that ended up in layups for him and his teammates. This is what the Wind Point Wave needed from the bench in their first game of the day. With Jon’s fire, they were able to secure the win as he was the second leading scorer for the game.
