<p class="text-gray-700">Kulibert was one of the steadier guards that I watched for Team 12. Showing good floor awareness, Kulibert moved well without the ball, putting himself in good catch and shoot positions and did a great job crashing the boards especially on the offensive end.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Although he did not get the ball much, I was impressed by how Johnson controlled the controllables, playing hard on the defensive end, getting after rebounds, and being a good teammate. All traits that varsity coaches look for especially in younger players.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lara was one of the handful of Illinois players, that made the trip up, but he certainly did not disappoint with his play. Showing nice bounce, the 5-11 lefty's athleticism was on display as he had his way getting into the paint finishing in traffic while competing on every possession.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of the top guards and highly ranked freshmen, Krull had a fantastic showing at The Champion Center. Solid ball handler, Krull is a true floor general type who makes good decisions and helps make his teammates around him better. Defensively he moves his feet, plays with very active hands, and knows how to utilize his body to cut off drive angles. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">6-1, long and athletic, Blanchard impressed with his ability to make tough catches and finish around the hoop, not only on the break, but in half courts sets. When not finishing at the rim, Blanchard showed nice touch from 10 feet and out helping to keep his defender honest. Blanchard also competed on the boards showing high level passing ability often finding teammates for deep outlets leading to layups.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of better defenders, that I watched all afternoon, Pease was impressive not only with his quick, active hands, but with his timing with an impressive block on a taller player at the rim leading which he then turned into a runout layup. Offensively he plays with good poise, and pace, knowing when to change up tempo to get by his defender showcasing smooth footwork and tight handles when he gets into traffic.</p>
