Jed, fresh off a Minnesota Class 4A State Title with Chaska, dominated on opening night. The 6'5” wing used his length to finish around the rim at a high level, being able to go to work with his back to the basket or attack from the perimeter. He knocked down several triples off the catch and also looked good getting to a mid-range fadeaway jumper, pulling up off the dribble. Keenan is looking like he could blossom into the top 2029 prospect in Minnesota by the end of the summer.

Oliver took over in a hard fought win over Mpls Hustlers on Friday night. He was the go-to guy down the stretch and wanted the ball to be in his hands. He is a reliable ball handling option and great decision maker, playing off of two feet under control. He did his scoring damage around the rim, as he was tough to stop from getting downhill in transition and in the half-court. Oliver also had some great cuts to the basket and played excellent defense on the top player in his class.

Jemierre adds a lot of value to a team as a lead guard, being a positive impact on both ends of the floor. He is an excellent creator, as his game has a nice blend of scoring and passing. He is quick and strong, being able to work around his defender with speed, converting on some difficult finishes inside. He is also a threat from deep, knocking down some second half threes to open the game up. Davis also brings energy and intensity on defense, applying pressure and getting on the floor for loose balls.

Malik almost willed his team to a win on Friday night, doing it all for his team. His size and athleticism is a cheat code at his age and he was going to work inside. He pulled in some rebounds with opponents draped all over him and had some tough finishes where there was nothing the defense could do but foul. He got loose for a throwdown in transition and continues to display confidence in his outside shot. Martin is very fun to watch and is asked to do a lot for the Hustlers.

This was my first time seeing Dexter play and it is easy to see why he is one of the top long-term prospects in this Minnesota freshman class. There's a lot to like with his 6'7” frame and perimeter skill. He used that size to make a difference in the paint, playing tough defense on a bigger opponent and rebounding well. Simmons' perimeter skillset and scoring abilities is what caught my eye most, as he is a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc and put the ball on the floor to get to a pull-up mid-range.

Tim showcased a lot of potential on Friday night, as his team went toe-to-toe with [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] until the final minutes. He has a strong 6'3” frame, being able to play inside as a big man, or step out and be able to stretch the floor. He is his strength to play tough interior defense on opposing forwards, also rebounding at a high level. Griffith showed he could knock down a look from three, also showing flashes of creating off the dribble.

Tyson was a key piece of a big opening night win for his team. He did it all, as his team lacked size, but the 6-foot guard made a big difference pulling in rebounds and playing tough defense. He was unselfish, moving the ball and finding open teammates. Offensively, Runk could knock down an open three, with some big makes in the clutch, and could convert around the rim with crafty finishes.
