Around the Circuits: 2028 Scorers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The weekend of April 24-26th I attended the <strong>Adidas 3SSB Session-1</strong> at Ladera, California and watched two other circuits online with the <strong>New Balance</strong> and <strong>Under Armour Association</strong> Circuits.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were some of the 2028 Scorers I viewed</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2457665' first='Viktor' last='Babic'] Perry (All In Elite 16) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger wing forward with high feel for the game. He will catch and shoot from the three point line and he can fall away from his defender from mid-range. He also is a good passer with great timing. He can grab a ball off the glass and push it. He can also rip thru to the basket and use a tough spin move and his size. His step back is a college move and extremely tough to defend.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2194808' first='Carter' last='Bagley'] St. Mary's (Dream Vision 16 3SSB)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger guard is a catch and shoot 3pt sniper. He will also get to his spots and puts pressure on the defense with his tighter handle for his size. He can score it with tough body contact takes scoring thru the contact and he will rebound well and collect steals with his stronger hands.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2552772' first='Tre' last='Terry'] Basha (Compton Magic 16 3SSB) (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long term scoring guard who keeps growing and getting better. He will pull-up from mid-range but he is a catch and shoot three point type. He is also a very good on-ball defender and help side defender. His athleticism is slowly kicking in too.&nbsp;Terry picked up a Division-1 offer in the process from <strong>Pacific</strong>. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2466075' first='Jayvein' last='Moody'] Mountain Pointe ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16 UAA)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A combo guard with some serious jets. His first step is undeniable. He blows past his initial defender often and will finish off tough shots in heavy traffic. He likes euros and speed dribble drives. He is super active on defense and collects steals with his twitch and will get on the glass and score with put backs with his bounce.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2628288' first='Lucas' last='Anderson'] Ironwood Ridge ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16 UAA)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the the top shooters in Tucson has one of those strokes that look good every attempt. He will rattle in triples one by one with a super quick release and gets squared in a blink of an eye.&nbsp;He uses his size to rebound and play the passing lanes. He can also occasionally drive it to the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2266384' first='Aiden' last='Williams'] Brophy Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16 UAA)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scoring combo lead guard can make some plays but is best putting the ball in the basket. He handles ball pressure and can direct the offense but is more wired to score. He has a polished mid-range jumper from mid-range off the dribble creating separation and will hit threes off the catch.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2194803' first='Pierce' last='Harrington'] Saguaro (All In Elite 16)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long and lean scoring combo guard with a fluid handle and he has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. He has a sharp pull-up from mid-range off the dribble and he can create his own offense with plus footwork in the paint and go up quickly to score before the defense commits. He also uses a tough spin move to get to the rim to score.   </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2470696' first='Tyonne' last='Brown'] Pinnacle (NBBA 16 UA Rise)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger wing forward who can take the ball off the rim and take it coast to coast and kiss it off the glass. He can score with threes off the catch with a super quick release and do the 1-2 dribble pull-up from mid-range with high elevation. He has a tough crossover into a mid-range pull-up he likes to use and he can play off of a ball screen and rise up. He also rebounds well in his area.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
