AOG: AZ Memorial Day Classic 2nd Team

He will throw up the court ropes and needle threaders in traffic and is very competitive on defense.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3649394' first='Kamron' last='Head'] Hillcrest Prep (Legacy Elite 16)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long lefty wing is a newcomer for me. He can hit three off the catch and get out on the break and play above the rim. He is long in the passing lanes to collect steals which usually leads to points on the other end. He has a stronger frame to handle the inside pounding but the skill of a guard.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3649416' first='Tallen' last='Marr'] ALA Queen Creek (SW Rebels 17) (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another newcomer is a good sized power forward who will score with rip thrus and takes contact well. He can crab dribble to the basket with his handle and often earns trips to the free throw line with his aggressive play. He can throw it down on the break and will block shots in his area. He is a sneaky good passer and strong rebounder with two hands.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2884642' first='Jackson' last='Murphy'] Corona Del Sol (SMAC 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A very skilled guard who was another one of the top shooters at the event. He has a tough mid-range jumper he likes to use and will rattle in triples one by one. He has a nice touch in the paint and he can score with contact takes. He is tougher then he appears and will fight inside for rebounds and block shots. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2574799' first='Quinton' last='Tillmon III'] Westview (SW Rebels 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A quick undersized scoring point guard. He will score with corner threes and bursts to the basket with his dominant left hand. He has a polished floater game he likes to use and can handle contact well on the break or in the half court set and score thru it. He puts a lot of pressure on the defense to not foul him in the lane.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3649422' first='Jacob' last='Jensen'] Gilbert Christian (AZ Premier 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scoring combo guard is a newcomer for me who was keeping his team in the game with his play. He rebounds really well for a guard and shows plus timing on his passes with drive and kicks but he wants to fill it up. He will shoot it with mid-range pull-ups and fall aways from deep beyond the three. His handle is deceptively tight in close spaces to get around the defense and understands how to change speeds.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2825320' first='Dasaan' last='Schaeffer'] Chavez (Legacy Elite 16)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A thicker framed wing has incredible strength combined with some feel and skill. He makes smart decisions with the ball and can score with threes off the catch and loves getting downhill. He has a polished floater he uses and handles contact unusually well with his college-like frame.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
