It's still super early in their careers but the 2029 class have now had a full high school season as well as half of their 15u AAU seasons under their belts. There are still plenty of new names emerging and we even had a top 10 player transfer into the state since the last update. Here's a look at the top ranked shooting guards in our updated rankings. This does not include any players who were already featured in our top ten article.

Lowery averaged 5 points per game for a veteran Butler squad and could see his average triple as a Sophomore. Triston is wired to score the ball and could be more of an on the ball player than a shooting guard by this time next year.

Bentley's freshman season was limited to just a handful of games at LCA. On his way back from a leg injury now, I expect Chase to burst back on the scene and push his way back up the rankings once the high school season rolls around.

Evangel has a crazy amount of talent and most of it is very young. Grant is one of the better young players in Louisville. Really good when attacking the rim, Rayshaun has the physical tools to get into the paint repeatedly and can convert multiple "and-1" opportunities in every game. Look for a big Sophomore season for Grant.

Matt can get overshadowed at times by teammate Ty Bryant but Withrow is a certified bucket. Capable of beating opponents off the dribble or by pulling up from deep. Physically stronger than most his age, Matt is one of the best pure scorers in this group and has a chance to be one of the best players in the 8th region next season.

Brayden was primarily a JV player as a freshman but if he were a stock, you'd want to buy now. Haffley is a good shooter who continues to improve his attack off the bounce. West Jessamine needs to replace quite a bit of production lost due to graduation. I expect Brayden to step into a big role for the Colts and be a breakout player in the 12th region next year.
