Who were the Top 2027 Performers I saw from Illinois this past weekend at the Windy City War? Here were a few of the best!

Daniel Sago ([program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'])

Sago jumped out on Friday night as a 6'6” Montini small forward that is also a football standout. Really liked the frame, length, athleticism, and skill combination. He shot it well off movement with a lightning quick release! Explosive transition athlete that displayed nice footwork on post ups. Impactful defender with his shot blocking and pressure creating turnovers. Will definitely make a move into the top 100 in our next 2027 update. Only question is how high?

[player_tooltip player_id='2827104' first='Rayvon' last='Myles'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'])

Myles is a prospect that we really became intrigued by in March. Lengthy combo guard that can play on or off the ball. Burst with the rock in his hands getting downhill hitting another gear to the rack. Scored through contact and was active defensively turning defense into offense in a split second.

[player_tooltip player_id='3430192' first='Xavier' last='Johnson'] (Infinity Sports)

Thick bodied 6'4” small forward who kept his Infinity Sports team in the game against the Demons with his sharp shooting. Feathery touch from three was evident as he made five of them for 22 points in the game we caught. Forced a few shots, but can't blame him too much as he was carrying his squad and they were going in. Going to be a major player for Westinghouse.

[player_tooltip player_id='2814861' first='Corey' last='Wellere Jr'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] EYCL)

Weller put on a show scoring 28 points in their game on Saturday morning. The King 6'1” scoring guard was a straight bucket getter as the southpaw poured in six triples. Hit heat checks one after another. Also was a pest defensively scoring quite a few points off steals for layups on the other end. Good athlete with strength and instincts. Could emerge in the CPS as a senior and will see a bump in his current ranking!

[player_tooltip player_id='2779481' first='Warren' last='Schweitzer'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075314' first='Big' last='3 Basketball'])

The Rochelle rising senior post is a strong bodied post that can play inside and out. Anchors down low where he is an effective rebounder on both ends along with utilizing nifty footwork around the cup for reverse layups and soft touch finishes. Can also stretch the floor with his shot out to beyond the arc as he had 19 points against Indina Game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532316' first='Chaden' last='Harvey'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'])

Harvey is a two guard from De La Salle with a strong and athletic frame. He is an explosive three level scorer that can create his own shot, get to the line, and hits the glass well. Like what he will bring to a small college or JUCO at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467723' first='Mohammad' last='Farhan'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

Farhan out of Stagg continues to fly under the radar of many. He brings legit size, length, and broad shoulders as a post that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Tenacious rebounder that competes on the glass high pointing rebounds and going after them aggressively. Offensively Farhan has skill with hook shots, floaters, and a mid-range shot. Works well in ball screens as a screener along with roller. Competes defensively around the hoop and contests shots.
