Ryan had the highest motor of all the prospects I saw in the 14U and 15U divisions of the Derby City Duel. It was hard to keep count of the second chance opportunities he created for his team by crashing the glass and securing 50-50 balls. He seemed to appear out of thin air more often than not when the opportunity for offensive rebounds presented itself. Ryan was also efficient at finishing around the rim off of tough drives through the lane.

Nation is fast as lightning with the ball in his hands in the open court. He used his speed whenever he could to push the pace of fast breaks. On top of his speed, he was one of the most reliable playmakers for Hoop City Elite's 15U squad. He kept his composure when offensive sets broke down in the half court and found ways to get a bucket or find an open man. He also showcased capable ball handling skills to get to the lane off the dribble.

Jaden plays much bigger than what he is and was very aggressive despite his stoic nature. He was a silent assassin for a Cincinnati Rockerz squad that went on to take home the Derby City Duel 14U championship title. No matter the situation, Jaden was at the scene of the crime and was often a catalyst for positivity for his team. He gave a heavy lift on the boards on both sides of the ball. Jaden also moved well without the ball throughout the contest and made it easy for his teammates to find him for dump offs around the rim.

Tay'vion was one of the most valuable players on the court in Cincinnati Rockerz 15U's first matchup of the Derby City Duel. He was one of two players to score in double figures for his squad and did his damage from everywhere on the court. His long-distance shooting stood out first after knocking down a pair from beyond the arc. He went on to finish some tough buckets through contact around the rim, however, that solidified his dominance. Whether it was losing his defender on backdoor cuts or securing putbacks from offensive rebounds, Tay'vion stood out amongst others.

Skill wise, Anderson was one of the best prospects in the building in the 15U division of the Derby City Duel. His high-level play helped Nova Elite 15U to a very successful weekend in Louisville during which they went undefeated. He was the best passer on the court and was more than comfortable with dishing no-look dimes to his teammates. He also showcased advanced ball handling skills and didn't waste many dribbles when getting to his spots. His on-ball defense, however, might've been his most valuable contribution. Anderson's intense ball pressure forced back-to-back turnovers on several occasions.
