On Saturday March 28th I attended two club tournaments around the city with the Phenom Hoops West Mania at the Pyramid in Phx and the annual King of the City at the Phhacility in Phx.

I watched 11 games with 20 different teams on the long day and here were my Top-70 performers I viewed. These are not prospect rankings, but how did they do in the 1 or 2 games I viewed of them.

3rd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2457855' first='Lucas' last='Alvarado'] Pinnacle ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] 2028 UA Rise)

A bigger scoring guard who can play on or off the ball. He will score with rip thrus into a finger roll, off the dribble jumpers and he has a super polished mid-range pull-up where he can rattle in one by one. He is a physical rebounder in and out of his area and will even block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2605518' first='Avtandil' last='Bakhtadze'] Dream City Christian ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] 2027 UA Rise)

A very tall, fluid and athletic post player is a massive kid with very long arms. He is very unique to face-up to the three point line and then dominate the glass and will take the ball to score coast to coast. He is clearly one of the top post players left in the 2026 AZ class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2640547' first='Christian' last='Brown'] Boulder Creek ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] 2028 UA Rise)

A physical wing forward plays a brand of basketball that you appreciate. He is one of those who is consistently making 50/50 plays diving on the floor, he uses the floater game and loves attacking to the basket with a physical play. He will fall away from his defender and will collect steals and lay it in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292818' first='O'mari' last='Gilbert'] Paradise Valley ([program_tooltip program_id='2076365' first='PAL' last='Elite'] 17)

An athletic power forward is twitchy and aggressive. He will grab a ball off the glass and take it coast to coast and finish it off with dunks or contested layups. He will rip thru and go to work and also step out to the three. He will then work inside with reverse layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386978' first='Jaydon' last='Hayes'] Willow Canyon (QBA 17)

A physical guard who does not normally play on this team but came in off the bench and played well. He will score with backing his opponent down, hit the three off the catch and has a sharp pull-up from mid-range. He will also make plays with passes up the court and he is a man rebounder

[player_tooltip player_id='2407206' first='Cameron' last='Hurt'] Pinnacle ([program_tooltip program_id='2076648' first='Peak' last='Basketball'] 2027 UA Rise)

A smooth point guard with a tighter handle, speed with the ball, feel and high skill level. His three point stroke is getting more consistent off the catch and will score with quick bursts to the basket, give and go layup and he hit clutch free throws in their win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146268' first='Brock' last='Knee'] Arcadia ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 2027)

A bigger scoring guard who may be one of the top standstill shooters in the 2027 class. He squares up exactly like you should and gets the ball out of his hands quicker then most. He is very consistent and keeps improving as a play-maker.

[player_tooltip player_id='3574541' first='Deng' last='Majur'] Bella Vista Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 2028)

A long freshman power forward who is playing up on 16U. He is a versatile inside and out threat with rip thrus and will stretch the floor with threes off the catch or pull. He is a great rebounder in his area and covers a lot of ground on defense. He can handle it well to create his own offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='3143427' first='Myking' last='Marfell-Williams'] Westview (Pictured) ([program_tooltip program_id='2076365' first='PAL' last='Elite'] 17)

A scoring point guard who is a really quick and smooth ball handler. He has an impressive first step and will often finish with his left hand in traffic. He has deep range with his threes and he is quick on the break. He will throw passes up ahead and he is quick on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2337276' first='Brig' last='Standage'] Mesa Mountain View (AZ Gremlins 17)

A bigger scoring guard will score it everyway with catch and shoot threes, dunks on the break, rip thrus, put backs and tough takes in the lane, as he is deceptively quick and athletic. He will also shot fake and blow by with either hand and he is a good passer.
