The 6'4” guard is so quick and was blowing by defenders with ease, where he could then convert on some ridiculous finishes at the basket, showing off some crazy body control. He is also a major shooting threat, hitting on deep looks off the dribble with a hand in his face. Gillespie will be a freshman guard in the Summit League to watch this upcoming season with the Mavericks.

Justin, the top prospect I saw this weekend that is not nationally ranked, was one of my favorite players to watch all weekend. The 6'5” wing can jump out of the gym and was throwing down highlight reel dunks in each game I saw. He was very hard to stop when getting to his left hand on drives to the basket, finishing with both touch and power at times. He can also stretch the floor, being capable of knocking down a triple off the catch. Johnson is an uncommitted 2027 prospect that is oozing with potential.

Elijah, the number three ranked junior prospect in New Mexico, was exceptional running the point for his team this past weekend. He is a confident guard that is very skilled and smart. He was creating tons of opportunities for his team, showing off his vision with some really impressive assists. He was also a pest defensively, applying pressure and forcing turnovers. Martinez is a great shooter from deep and displayed his touch around the basket as well.

Jumaa, a seven-foot center in the class of 2026, dominated the paint all weekend with Gamepoint Inland Empire. The lengthy big man moves very well for his size and was a gamechanger on the interior with his defensive presence. He worked well in the pick and roll and did all of his scoring work inside with many dunks and contested layups. It was tough to find any other information on Kitendo, but he easily has the potential of a Division 1 center.

Serafin, a versatile unsigned senior out of New Mexico, was very fun to watch when he got in the open floor. The 6'6” wing threw down a pair of thunderous two-hand slams in a highly anticipated matchup with RWE, showing off his athleticism. Mendez is able to guard a variety of positions with his length and athleticism, matching up with several Division 1 commits, making them work for everything.

Jimeto, a Colorado native and member of the 2026 class, showed out this weekend. He is an elite scoring option, being able to get a bucket in a variety of ways from all three levels. He is a high flyer and loves to play above the rim. He is very smooth and plays at his own pace, never looking sped up. Orji is committed to Division 2 Regis University in Denver, as he will be a player to watch in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Will, a Mississippi native and member of the 2026 class, was very fun to watch this weekend as a lead guard. He may be undersized at 5'10”, but more than makes up for it with his quickness and basketball IQ. He could fly up and down the floor so fast, creating so much offense for him and his team. He is a knockdown shooter and has hitting on looks from deep off the dribble and off the catch. Myles is committed to Clark Atlanta University at the Division 2 level.

Diggy, a senior wing prospect committed to Air Force, was putting on a show this weekend with Team TruHeight. He has a strong 6'5” frame and is impressed with his explosiveness. He was throwing down thunderous dunks every time he got the chance, showing off his athleticism. Griffin is also a very versatile defender with his size, length, strength, and athleticism that will transfer to the next level.

Hayden, another big athletic wing on this D1 New Mexico squad that impressed this past weekend in Denver. He is an explosive athlete and is very quick for his size. He could accelerate to the rim in a flash to then hang in the air for a tough acrobatic finish through traffic. He was very effective in transition, as well as when rolling to the basket after setting a strong screen. Bruhn is also very versatile on the defensive end with his athleticism and size.

Vincent, a senior guard prospect from California, brings so much to the table as a lead guard. He is an exceptional athlete, being able to play above the rim at 6'2”. He was great at getting to pull-up jumpers in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. He is a tenacious defender, matching up with the opposing team's top guards, constantly bringing the energy and effort. Warsaw was tough to stop from getting downhill when he gets a full head of steam.
