[player_tooltip player_id='2460889' first='Asher' last='Spence'], Dixie

Earlier in the season, as we followed Dixie High School, we began to recognize the team's potential, and newcomer [player_tooltip player_id='2460889' first='Asher' last='Spence'] immediately caught our eye. He displayed confidence in clutch situations, never backing down from taking important shots. Spence's shooting and ball-handling skills have shown significant improvement, and his athleticism is developing nicely. We've noticed Spence attacking the basket more frequently throughout the season, and this improved play is evident in his performance on the club circuit. Spence is poised for a breakout spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724356' first='Davian' last='Lazarus'], Olympus

Lazarus possesses all the intangibles you look for in a player at the next level. He is a 6'9" combo forward who can shoot the ball. He will likely be recruited as a wing or a small forward. His shooting has improved, largely due to better shot selection. He was shooting the ball more in the flow this season, and it paid off. His length and lateral defensive ability allow him to defend players 1-5. Lazarus should have a great season at the club and high school levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='2604926' first='Logan' last='Goncalves'], Bingham

Goncalves provided valuable spark off the bench when needed, and his move to the starting lineup this upcoming season will enable him to reach his full potential. He is an athletic player capable of elevating and moving effectively. Consistent playing time should lead to improvements in his defense, allowing him to fully utilize his athleticism. On offense, he demonstrates a versatile inside-outside game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2779773' first='Elijah' last='Gasser'], Salem Hills

Gasser played on a well-balanced team and, frankly, he possesses a well-balanced game. He makes plays, racks up assists, rebounds the ball, and gets it up the floor quickly. Gasser can also produce from beyond the arc. Look for Gasser to take his game to a new level and have a breakout year.

[player_tooltip player_id='3517480' first='Caleb' last='Balch'], Wasatch

Balch had a fantastic showing in the state playoffs, finishing with a big-time performance, scoring 21 points. He possesses a remarkable ability to shift into a higher gear when he has the ball and is attacking the basket. This coming season, expect a more consistent and impactful performance from him.
