Prep Hoops The Stage – Seven Under-the-Radar Stars

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What a weekend it was on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The Stage turned out to be one of our best events yet. Not only was the talent level excellent featuring several shoe-circuit teams, but there were multiple college coaches in the gym every day, Top 150 national prospects to watch, an elite crew of Prep Hoops scouts in attendance, and the event was just ran very well overall. Content and exposure are at the forefront of everything we do at Prep Hoops and we hit a home run with The Stage. Throughout the coming week we will have a ton of content recapping the weekend. Top performers, stock-risers, All-Tournament teams, notebooks, and much more. Garner, a long, athletic, 6'3" wing from South Putnam High School, was a massive part of that success. He averaged 18 points and 5 rebounds per game throughout the event. He is a pure scorer that has gotten physically stronger and has some athleticism that he uses to finish at the end of his drives. Hilkey played up two years at the 17u level for 502 Elite and shot the ball very well in the game we watched on Saturday morning. He is flying under-the-radar after missing the majority of his junior year after transferring into Blackford. The 6'8" forward/center runs the floor really well for his size, is an above-the-rim finisher, and has shown the ability to rebound his area. A couple of other guards might have gotten the headlines and led in the scoring department, but Smith was an excellent, steady presence throughout the weekend. Washington, an under-the-radar point guard that got some varsity experience as a junior, really made a name for himself this weekend at The Stage playing with Indiana Basketball Club 17u. The explosive 5'10" playmaker got consistent paint touches and showed off some next-level quickness.
