Lonestar State Showdown: 16U Same Team Contributors

Prep Hoops successfully brought in talented players, some of whom other scouts discovered throughout the weekend. He consistently provided multiple second efforts for his team, particularly in the rebounding department, especially offensively. When rebounding offensively, he effectively drew fouls and converted those opportunities multiple times. His perimeter shooting was instrumental in this success. Even after the first half, Christian continued to contribute to the team's scoring. He shoots standing shots from the perimeter, jumping high on his release. During a game, he got into an altercation with an opposing player. After that, he scored a bunch of points that further increased their lead in the second half. When the offense starts, Koontz takes charge and initiates the play, driving to the basket and creating scoring opportunities. His fast-paced play and smooth execution of the offense was evident early on Sunday.
