A well-rounded contributor who impacted winning with instincts, effort, and efficiency. Great hands both offensively and defensively, as a rebounder and defender always finding a way to get hands on the ball. He played with timing, anticipation, and a ball hawk mentality, jumping passing lanes, poking balls loose, and securing rebounds in traffic. Hayes also scored within the offense well for a defensive-minded player, taking advantage of what the defense gave him and finishing plays within the flow.

Freight train coming downhill, powering through defenders with a strong upper body and lengthy reach, applying constant rim pressure. Explosive first step whether going right or left, especially out of a crossover where his momentum carries him forward into advantage situations. On the defensive end he didn't allow anything easy, challenging drives and interior shots with timing, bounce, and effort, showing good hands while never giving up on a play. Spraggins played with a nonstop motor, consistently making multiple efforts, whether it was recovering for a late contest, rotating as a help defender, or altering shots with second-effort activity.

Pesky and gritty defender who not only crowds and takes away space but also willing to get on the floor loose balls be poked away, even producing stints where he dove on the floor twice in a matter of seconds, displaying incredible heart. Lorenz got into opponents early, making every catch and dribble uncomfortable while disrupting rhythm and timing. His defensive intensity and willingness to sacrifice his body brought a level of edge and energy that lifted the entire team.

Gritty defender, [player_tooltip player_id='3562858' first='Hank' last='Powell'] put pressure on the ball effectively, tightening up on the ball handler in pick-and-roll actions, staying attached, and stonewalling drives with his chest before poking the ball away with his active hands. True shutdown defense, giving no space for ball-handlers to operate, create, or attack. Whenever Powell's defense led to offense he showcased elite breakaway quickness, getting to the rack without being stopped or slowed down. In the halfcourt it was his first step downhill that created easy paint touches and finishes through traffic, converting defense into efficient offense.

Damani Price played to his strengths on both sides of the ball, executing everything through his wingspan and reach. Defensively he never dropped his hands, anchoring the paint and deterring drives, while cutting off angles for opposite-side drop-offs or kick-outs. His massive standing reach forced tough shot attempts, leading his man to shoot high-arcing fadeaways and off-balance shots, consistently contesting without fouling.
