Thompson was a double-double machine for [program_tooltip program_id='2078849' first='Team' last='Fly'], and offensively mainly got his buckets near the hoop utilizing his length and soft touch. He was pretty solid with his mid-range jumper as well, and capably attacked the hoop off the dribble. In addition to his rebounding, the Sunset junior was solid defensively at multiple positions, both inside and out on the perimeter.

Lampert was arguably the best finisher in transition we saw on Sunday. He leaked out on the break and outran defenders to the hoop, where he used his length to finish at a high percentage. On one play, he showed off his athleticism with a nice one-handed power jam. Overall the West Linn junior was tough on the boards and was aggressive defensively too.

Known best for his ability to knock down catch-and-shoot jumpers, Jaimet was accurate with those - especially from the corners - but he was far from a one-trick pony. The Westside Christian junior was able to show he could create off the dribble and score near the hoop a little, and also impressive was his willingness and ability to pass to open teammates.

A shooter with size, the perimeter jumper wasn't necessarily falling as well as he would like so Dunn made adjustments. He took his game down low and was effective scoring that way, taking advantage of his size and finishing with both hands. This helped the Eagles - Hood River Valley's varsity squad - capture a win in their final game of the event.

Barron was one of the fresh faces that stood out to us the most on Saturday. The 6-foot-5 forward may still be a little raw offensively, but in terms of rebounding and defense the instincts are already there. He was effective as a shot-blocker, both directly and from the help side, and his ability to run the floor helped him get a number of easy buckets.

We haven't quite gotten to covering the Class of 2031 quite yet, but when we do there's no question Courtney will be one of the top players listed. The seventh grader from West Linn proved that he can not only run with but be effective against opponents several years older than him as he was super skilled with his scoring, shooting, and ball-handling. The younger brother of former West Linn and Corban standout Oreon Courtney will certainly be one to watch for years to come.
