3Stripes Gold West: Top Facilitators Viewed

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Sunday April 13th I attended the <strong>3Stripes Gold West Session 1&nbsp;</strong>at West Point HS in Avondale. I watched many Arizona teams but also viewed teams from Alaska, Oregon, Montana, California. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were the Top Facilitators Viewed </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3588648' first='Desmond' last='Davidson'] Empire (Pictured) (O3 Elite 17)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A real point guard who breaks the press and sprays the ball around. He will make some next level bail out passes and some drive and kicks, dump offs and can burst to the basket for layups. He has a little shift but he controls the pace and makes the read. He comes with deep three point shooting range with a quicker trigger but has next feel with great court vision. He makes it look easy and guides his team perfectly.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2717233' first='Travon' last='Darby'] Red Mountain ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite 3 Stripe'] 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger point guard with a stronger frame and skill. He plays off the pick and roll game flawlessly and will find the teammate. He likes to touch the paint to make a play playing off of two-feet and he will hit the three off the catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2878042' first='Davon' last='Darby'] Red Mountain ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite 3 Stripe'] 16)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An undersized point guard has the ball on a string. He was easily one of the best passers on the day with advance passes perfectly in stride and the ball never sticks too long in his hands. He is very crafty getting to the basket with slow step euros, in and out moves, tough drives and mid pull-ups. He is a very good advanced passer and gets the ball out of his hands and truly thinks the game quickly. He truly is a phenomenal passer with up the court ropes and always seems to throw the correct read. He will play the passing lanes and he is an aggressive on-ball defender to disrupt his opponents.
