[player_tooltip player_id='2126149' first='Cayden' last='Lea'] of Rushford-Peterson (Sr). The [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] move the basketball very, very well. They had 20 assists on 28 makes and while it was a loss to Triton (the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] are a pretty small team, they play great team basketball, but they are small so it was tough last night) and Lea was a really big catalyst for that. He made six threes on his way to a 23 point game but I was really impressed with his ability to pass the basketball (six assists).

[player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] of Goodhue (Soph). A lot of this is going to be on repeat but what I have seen from [player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] this year not only solidifies him as a top ten player prospect in his class, but we are talking about a guy that I think local D1 teams should have on their radar. Loos is a very good shooter who made five threes last night on his way to a 34 point game making 14 of 19 shots. In addition, Loos has good size at 6'3/6'4, he is an athletic, strong guard/wing, and he spent nearly the entire game defending [player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] and he did a great job with that assignment.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] of Lake City (Jr). The fight of [player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] is something that I have really been impressed with this winter. This is a young man with a will, and a fight to win games that a lot of other players don't have. He has a feel for getting to space and scoring the ball that combined with that fight makes Gavyn such an impressive young scorer. Lorenson had 29 points on 12 of 27 shooting including three three-pointers made in the loss to Goodhue.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119578' first='Pierce' last='Petersohn'] of Triton (Sr). Pierce is a top ten Mr. Basketball finalist with good reason, he is averaging about 32 points and 13 rebounds a game for a top ten team. But his 39 point, eight rebound performance on Monday on 14 of 24 shooting (in a victory over Rushford-Peterson) was extra special. What really caught my attention was the way Pierce was shooting the basketball getting an awesome lift to his touch and making one on one jumpers getting squared in the air to hit with great form. Pierce looks like a Summit League basketball recruit to me if he wanted to be.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375788' first='William' last='Thiemann'] of Triton (Jr). William is a bit different player than I thought he was. He has a better handle than I was aware of and while we knew he is a good shooter with a nice touch, the range is a bit better than expected as well (based on this game and numbers we have received).
