[player_tooltip player_id='1765518' first='Jude' last='Gibson'] was one of the most impressive players in the 3A state tournament. He did about everything for Ballard throughout this tournament. For starters, he was an elite shot creator for the offense. He got buckets from about every area of the court and was very efficient from his spots. Both from the midrange and from beyond the three-point mark, he was a sniper. His fast and effective jump shot proved very difficult for defenders to contest. And even with a defender in his face, his touch never wavered. He displayed an elite ability to rise up and over contests and make shots with a high degree of difficulty. And his elite quickness and ball-handling skills are how he was able to create space for these shots. These skills also aided in his rim scoring. He got to the rim at will throughout this tournament, and he was extremely efficient around the cup. His touch and tough shot-making abilities very much show up in his interior scoring. He finishes through contact with ease and around tough angles and contesting defenders. His floater and contact layups were shots that he could go to at any moment. He also displayed great leadership, while also dominating defensively and cleaning the glass for his team.

Trey Brytre dominated for ADM throughout the state tournament. His rebounding impact was extremely imperative to ADM's success. He cleaned the glass on both ends of the floor with his strength, leaping, and hustle. He was relentless when it came to tracking down missed shots and gaining his team possessions. These rebounds led to many high-efficiency looks for his team. And he locked down his opponents by limiting them to single possessions. He scored around the rim at a high clip with his strength, touch, and footwork. In the interior, he was a bruiser that put his shoulder into defenders and created space for his post hooks. The midrange was also an area where he displayed scoring abilities as well. His playmaking skills were great. He created the bulk of his team's buckets with his scoring threat and his ability to see over the defense and find his teammates for open looks. Trey was great on the defensive end too. He showed himself to be very fluid and strong. He was great at using his frame and length to disrupt opponents and keep them out of the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1765515' first='Jaidyn' last='Coon'] was absolutely elite as a scorer and shot creator throughout this tournament. His combination of size and skill is one of the best in Iowa. Jaidyn showed himself to be virtually unguardable one-on-one. His elite ball-handling, shooting, use of his body, and athleticism made him a matchup nightmare throughout this tournament. His dribble combos had defenders stumbling constantly. And he has no issue pulling up and cashing out from any distance with the smallest bit of space. His jumper is super fast and compact, and he can get his shot off in a phone book. Even with heavy contests, Jaidyn is extremely efficient, both in the midrange and from beyond the arc. His interior scoring and driving were elite in this tournament. Jaidyn is great at using his body to carve out space for tough layups. And his touch converts to these shots as well. He can get to the rim with ease using his burst, and off-balance and contested layups are shots he makes with no issues. His playmaking was great as well. He created many open shots with his scoring threat, and he made quick reads and passed with great accuracy. Rebounding was another area where he was very impressive. He brought down heaps of boards with his elite vertical and hustle. Jaidyn did about everything he could for Storm Lake through their state tournament run.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413644' first='Jared' last='Mohr'] carried Carroll throughout this tournament with his endless effort. Jared is an elite scorer who can get it done from about any area on the court, and he displayed that throughout this tournament. He was great as a three-point shooter. He hit many threes both off the catch and off the bounce, and he hit these shots at a high clip. He is a great shooter for his size and position, and his jump shot is super quick and efficient. He went on a hot streak as a shooter in this tournament, and that granted him many hard closeouts, which he was great at attacking with his speed and ball-handling. Jared was elite as a driver because of his use of his body and strength to manufacture lanes to the rim. He was a bowling ball in this tournament that punished whoever dared get in his way. Once he got himself to the rim, he rarely missed due to his soft touch. The midrange was another area of his scoring he showed off. He hit many floaters and hooks in the intermediate areas of the court. His ability as a scorer allowed him to create many shots for his team. He also dominated the glass throughout this tournament. He notched multiple double-doubles using his length and activity to come down with boards. He anchored Carroll's defense, and he displayed high levels of leadership.
