This is the 6th and final version of the Class of 2026 Player Rankings, which all but the last round can be found at the Nothing But Net Magazine website. I have updated this list to include the 2025-2026 high school basketball season and postseason. I have expanded this list from 60 to 65 players from around the Central Section. This list of players was compiled using my own evaluations, along with feedback from knowledgeable media, coaches, and other relevant basketball personnel from the Section, to make up the top 65 senior prospects for this updated round of player rankings for the 2026 Class. However, the order of players on this list is my own. This list takes into consideration two key factors in determining where players are ranked, and will be the same criteria used each time this list is updated. The criteria for these rankings are as follows: current skill level and production on the court, as well as future projection at the collegiate level. The depth of this class combined with the impact many have had since their freshman year, has led to some impressive statistics and numbers that set some on track to achieve key milestones and even school records. Below are the next 10 players of these players rankings, #41-50, and will be followed by #51-65. In this article, you will find the following information: current rank, their previous rank in parentheses, the player's name, height, player position, current school attending, and college commitment if it applies. We begin this final list with a look at #41, Jacob Baldovinos.

41 (38) Jacob Baldovinos |6'1| Garces Memorial-Bakersfield

Baldovinos comes in at #41, moving down 3 spots, in this final list of player rankings. Baldovinos has been the go to guy for the Rams the last two seasons, and he has risen to the occasion, earning 1st-Team All-SYRL honors and averaging 13.2 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds per game. Baldovinos has solid handles, keeps it on a string to survey the floor, has smooth moves to create off the dribble, using the between-cross, toss-cross, crossover, hesitation, and behind-cross to create space from his defender, gets good lift on the jumper with accuracy on the mid-range to the 3-point line, moves fluidly off the ball to get open looks off the catch, gets paint touches routinely, and is a crafty scorer around height in the paint. Baldovinos sees the floor well, makes good reads up the court or in the half-court setting, and is active on the boards.

42 (24) Aidan Beechler |6'2| Clovis East

Beechler ends the 2026 player rankings at the #42 spot, moving out of the top 25. Beechler suffered a knee injury that sidelined him throughout the Summer and most of the high school season, but he was able to return for TRAC play and helped Clovis East make a push for the D1 Section playoffs. I do not have stats for Clovis East, but I did see the T-Wolves in person in its final game of the season. Beechler has a strong handle on the ball, uses the crossover, behind-cross, and between-cross to get his defender off balance, is effective with the 3-ball off the dribble or the catch, and has the physical build to score through contact on shots around the basket. Beechler is a good positional rebounder, has the handles to push the pace of play, and makes good reads to open teammates off the drive and kick pass. Beechler is a player to keep an eye on after high school, as he has the game and skill-set to play at the JUCO level next year.

43 (34) Simon Kebede |6'| Stockdale-Bakersfield

Kebede had a solid senior season with the new coaching staff and comes in at #43 in this final list of player rankings. Kebede's freshman year was the year that Stockdale was loaded and earned a top 5 seed in the D1 Section playoffs, but it has been rough the last 3 years for the Mustangs, but Kebede stayed loyal and finished out at Stockdale. Kebede was named to the 1st-Team All-SYRL squad, averaged18 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, and left his mark on the Mustang program. Kebede has solid handles, uses the crossover, hesitation, between-cross, behind-cross, and toss-cross to get his defender off balance, gets great lift on the pull-up jumper, from the mid-range to the 3-point line, moves fluidly off the ball to get open looks off the catch, and is a creative scorer at the basket, using the Euro-step, reverse, or up-and-under lay-ups to evade shot-blockers in the paint. Kebede is active on the glass, can score through contact with good body control, and has the court vision to find open teammates when on the attack.

44 (35) Brock Beshwate |6'2| Immanuel-Reedley

Beshwate was the driving force for the Eagles this season at the lead guard spot, and he comes in at #44 in this final round of player rankings. Beshwate earned 2nd-Team ALL-Tri County honors, and averaged 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game to display his all around impact on the offensive side of the ball. Beshwate keeps the ball on a string to survey the floor, uses the crossover, hesitation, hard-pound dribble, between-cross, and toss-cross to get his defender off balance, plays with good pace and control, gets into the paint routinely, and has the court vision to make the right reads to open teammates on the drive and kick pass, as well as finds out of the pick and roll action. Beshwate has a smooth mid-range jumper off the bounce, moves well off the ball to get open looks from beyond the arc, and is active on the glass, which allows him to push the pace of play in the open court.

45 (47) Emoni Myles |6'| South Bakersfield

Myles rounds out the top 45, moving up a few spots, and ends at #45 in this final list. Myles helped lead his team to the outright SYML title, earned 1st-Team All-SYML honors, and averaged 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game to show his all-around impact on the game. Myles has dynamic handles, good wiggle and shifty movement with the ball in his hands, has the moves with the crossover, spin-move, behind-cross, hesitation, and toss-cross to shake his defender, and can score it from 3-levels. Myles moves well off the ball to get top his shot spots, is effective with the 3-ball off the catch, has the court vision to find open teammates up the court in transition, as well as in the half-court setting, crashes the boards on both ends, and is a tough on-ball defender with active hands to poke the ball out. Brings the dog mentality to the court, which was missing for a stretch this season due to injury, and it led to some losses that likely don't happen if he is on the court.

46 (43) Kamren Owens |5'10| Bakersfield

Owens moves down three spots and lands at #46 in this final list of player rankings. Owens was the reliable floor spacer for the Drillers this season, as he was tasked with spacing the floor and opening up driving lanes. Owens averaged 10 points per game, was named to the 2nd-Team All-SYVL, and saw the program go from one of the worst in the Section to one of the top 10 teams in the Section his senior year. Owens moves well off the ball, moving off screens and v-cuts to get free from his defender, and can light it up from beyond the arc, scoring in volume. Owens has good handles, looks to get into the paint, and makes good decisions with the ball when on the attack.

47 (NR) Tycen Ramirez |6'7| Fresno Christian

Ramirez makes his debut on this list, and comes in at #47 in this final round of player rankings. Ramirez was the interior presence for Fresno Christian in last year's run to the D4 Section title and the D4 State championship game, and was one of the only players left from last year's squad. His athletic and physical style of play fit perfectly with fellow senior Leon Madec, as he was perfect for setting screens, diving off the pick and roll action, and making himself available for easy lay-ups or some monster dunks. Ramirez controls the glass on both ends, can spread the floor with the jumper on occasion, alters/blocks shots in the paint, and runs the floor well in the open court. Ramirez averaged 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals per game, a near double-double, but he is also the QB on the football team, and from what I have been told that will be his pathway after high school. But if he decides to go the hoops route, he has the foundations to play at the JUCO level and with work and development on his offensive game, he could be an impact guy.

48 (46) Tye Tibbett |6'3| Immanuel-Reedley

Tibbett is coming off a highly productive senior season, and he finishes up at the #48 spot in this last round of player rankings. Tibbett would earn 1st-Team All-Tri County honors, averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, and was the consistent force for the Eagles the three times I watched Immanuel live. Tibbett is active on the glass, an exceptional positional rebounder for his height, bullies his way through contact at the basket, is effective with the jumper from the mid-range to the 3-point line, has the court vision to make plays and find open teammates, and is a solid defender that can guard the 1-4 respectively. His hustle and relentless motor allow him to contribute in various ways, and before you know it he has a near double-double.

49 (39) Moses Curry |6'| Liberty-Bakersfield

Curry finishes his four-year varsity career at Liberty, with his senior season being under the new coaching staff, which seemed to bring out the best in his style of play. Curry finishes this list of player rankings at #49, earned 2nd-Team All-SYRL honors, and averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. Curry showed he can play at the high-post spot in the zone offense, with good court vision and decision making to find open teammates, has the handles and moves to create off the perimeter, has a smooth stop and pop mid-range jumper, is effective with the 3-ball off the catch, and is a solid on-ball defender that gets into his opponent's dribbling space to force turnovers.

50 (30) Derek Jimenez |5'10| Centennial-Bakersfield

Rounding out the Top 50 and making it black to the court for his senior season is Derek Jimenez. Jimenez was injured during football and there was word he might miss his entire senior season. But with work and dedication, something he is known for on the court and in the classroom, Jimenez was back for league play and able to finish out the season with his teammates and younger brother Drake. Jimenez has solid handles, shifty moves to create off the bounce, is at his best when moving off the ball to get to his shot spots, and is accurate with the 3-ball off the catch. Jimenez is a solid on-ball defender with active hands and good instincts to poke the ball out or jump passing lanes, and looks to push the pace of play in the open court.
