When Granite closed the first half on a run and severely cut into the Dover lead, it was Buck's cool and composed second half scoring that extended lead. Finished with 18 points. Has the type of shot that every one looks like it's going in. As he has a smooth release and a soft landing where the net barely moves.

Dover looks good and the future is even brighter with Compton at the helm. He was a key part of their 17-2 run to start the game. Opened with a pull up jumper and then had moments of flair throughout the contest. Including a transition push that saw him dribble through the defense and make his way to the rim. Playing for a coach like Jared Reese gives Compton a great foundation as a traditional floor general., and it's fun to see him have some extra flair and skill when the occasion calls for it.

Maybe it was early jitters or something Hill had for lunch, but he was slow out of the gate. Missed good looks around the rim and looked a step off. He finally got a shot to fall late in the first then started to assert himself in the second quarter. It might've took a questionable offensive foul call to snap him out, but from that point further he was effective and impactful.

Went up and snagged a high entry pass then went up quickly and strongly. Shortly after he hustled back on defense, forcing a turnover to save two points. Then immediately was fed and scored for an And 1 with attitude! A third quarter baby hook by the lefty showed some better touch, and he stayed locked in around the rim. Went for 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

Bledsoe came out gunning in the first quarter. Settled for a lot of jumpers, but did end the opening frame by going around an attempted double, and draining a 15ish foot runner. In the second frame, he did a better job of capitalizing on the attention he drew by getting his teammates involved. Which also led to him getting better looks for himself while attacking the basket. Late in the third he got a deep three to fall, which gave him 20 at the time. More importantly that deep three put Deer Creek-Lamont up 15, effectively serving as a back breaker. A pair of late free throws gave Bledsoe 30 on the night, as he proved his scoring chops and combo guard creation abilities.

The springy junior got the game started with a fantastic first quarter. Multiple times he got loose in transition and threw it down with authority. He got Duke off to a hot start and early lead, but they would find themselves down by double digits in the second half. Along with the all action hustle play of Nathan Gable, and timely shooting of Aiden Tamplen, Womack would lead the comeback. Chipping away in the fourth and eventually pulling away to advance to the semifinals. Womack had a game high 22 points, including 10-13 shooting from the lane. He's a plus athlete, who wouldn't look out of place playing in the higher classifications in Oklahoma.
