2027 State Tourney Sharp Shooters

We walked away impressed with his all around game, but especially his ability to shoot the ball from deep. His stellar shooting continued in Forest Grove. His numbers weren't quite as strong at the state tournament, as both opponents hounded him through out the game. It was obvious that Parkrose was determined to limit his touches in the title game, as he was only able to shake loose for one three point attempt. He knocked down over 50% of his 3 point attempts for the balanced Parkrose offense. Every time it left his hand, it looked like it was going in, a sign of a great shooter. Much more will be expected of Gates in 2026-27 if the Broncos hope to repeat.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
