[player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'] retains his #1 spot in the final 2026 rankings after showing out all season long with the 5A State Champion: Coronado Cougars. He is a versatile piece on offense thanks to his shooting, slashing, and overall scoring instincts. Which allow him to pick apart the defense. He also has the ability to score in bunches, giving the Cougars the chance to build leads. Or chip into them. Oba also had the responsibility of guarding some of the top players in the country this season, and he did a great job of limiting their production. All in all, he has the traits needed to contribute at the next level. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing him in his Missouri State threads.

Akron commit [player_tooltip player_id='2418885' first='Devan' last='Christion'] stays in the #2 spot. He was a dominant player for the Clark Chargers in their 4A State Title run and had some truly eye-popping stats and highlights over the course of the year. At the moment, his top attributes are his size, rim-running, and his ability to be an enforcer on defense when he swats and alters shots. In addition to that, he's proven that he knows how to get to the line, and I like how he puts pressure on defenders when operating in the paint. With his height and athleticism, the upside is clearly there, and he has many of the tools to continue making a strong impact at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1953886' first='Connor' last='Sheridan'] is still flying under the radar a bit in my opinion when it comes to his recruiting. The 6'9 big man is one of the more explosive power forwards/centers that I have seen in any class, and he leverages his length and vertical to be a consistent playmaker on both ends of the court. He had some of the top dunks that I saw this season, and he also blocked shots with ease at times. Sheridan also has a great motor and isn't the type of player to take possessions off. Considering his elite bounce, effort, and ceiling, college coaches would be wise to take a deeper look at his film and production.

[player_tooltip player_id='1741167' first='Kade' last='Snyder'] stuffed the stat sheet for the Bishop Manogue Miners game in and game out. He's always assertive and aggressive on offense and can overpower defenders with his strength, or utilize his footwork and frame to maneuver around opponents near the cup. His craftiness also helps him get to the charity stripe (where he shot 80%). As a defender, Snyder isn't the easiest guy to get around, and he can clog up driving lanes. He is already set to attend Nevada next year, and it will be great to see what the future has in store for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1493480' first='Dante' last='Steward'] elevated his game during his senior campaign with the Liberty Patriots. The hyper-athletic SF made defenses pay on a regular basis with his 3-point shot and ability to get out in transition. He is a problem when left open, and he'll head tap defenders who try to jump with him when going for a dunk. Beyond his play on offense, Steward can guard multiple positions on defense thanks to his stature, strength, and scrappiness. With that said, there is a lot to like about his game and his stock is up because of it. As he moved up from 8th to 5th. His recruitment is still open for college coaches who need a dynamic two-way player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1707488' first='Demari' last='Hunter'] is an incredibly fast player who can be quite disruptive on the defensive end. His lateral quickness is elite, and he often forces the man he's guarding to pass it off or take a bad shot. He applies constant pressure at the point of attack, gets into passing lanes, and has the instincts to come up with steals that can quickly swing momentum. Hunter stays active defensively and rarely gives opposing guards much breathing room, making him one of the tougher perimeter defenders to deal with. He also has the burst to go coast to coast and will leave opponents in the dust in transition. On top of his defense and transition play, he gets downhill in a hurry if there's a lane, and he can hit jumpers or 3's if he gets a quality look.

[player_tooltip player_id='1463230' first='Tyus' last='Thomas'] takes the #7 spot in the final 2026 rankings. The Patriot floor general was a crucial part of their winning season and helped them reach the 5A Final. On offense, Thomas can get to his spots in an efficient manner and shows good touch on shots from long range. He also has a nice stepback in his bag that he can use if defenders cut him off. In addition to his scoring, he can throw some dimes when he catches the defense ball-watching. As a defender, Thomas works hard to cause both deflections and steals. He is also another player on this list who is still looking for a place to call home next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2122232' first='Kaden' last='Arnold'] went out and had a great season for the Democracy Prep Blue Knights. He was one of the better prospects I saw from a shooting perspective, and I noticed him knocking down mid-range shots and triples regularly, which helped him become one of the leading scorers in 5A with 17.5 PPG. Arnold also utilized his bounce when he got ahead of everyone to throw down some strong dunks. On the defensive end, his wingspan, agility, and IQ give him an advantage in most matchups, and he's capable of blocking shots around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1707443' first='Chase' last='Robertson'] was one of the players who transferred into Nevada this year, and he absolutely made some noise with the Desert Pines Jaguars. He is a force to be reckoned with on offense when he is in the zone, and he makes very tough finishes, including contested layups and huge dunks. Robertson also averaged 4.5 APG this season and had a couple of 25+ point performances. Defensively, he made opponents work to gain ground, and he can alter shots with his long arms.

[player_tooltip player_id='1266706' first='Tyler' last='Bright'] bumps a couple of places and lands at #10 in the last 2026 rankings update. He was a big piece for the Bishop Gorman Gaels this season, and his 6'9 height had a lot to do with him being a difference maker. He was physical on defense when he needed to be and protected the paint. He also had some success on offense, where he got to the rim on drives, posted up on the block, and buried 3's. His size and skill set make him a tough matchup for opponents.. And he showed throughout the season that he can be a real difference maker.
