We have seen a number of seniors step forward and really progress in their final year. Here are some of their stories!

[player_tooltip player_id='2841056' first='Jackson' last='Koenen'] of Montevideo (6'3). A shooter with length and size that is one of four double figure scorers for one of the best teams in Class AA basketball. Smart player that sets his shot up well and has been a key player for a good team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1525457' first='Teni' last='Phillips'] of Maranatha Christian (6'5). MCA is a bit of an under the radar team right now because they lost three games early in the season (a pair to teams that had tough years, double figure loss to Southwest Christian). However, keep an eye on this team because they have not lost a game in 2026 and they have a team that can make some noise. Phillips has had a nice season averaging 15 points a game as an active forward working towards a second year as an all league player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417208' first='Jakar' last='Rice'] of St. Paul Humboldt (6'2). A lefty shooter that has had some huge shooting games down the stretch this winter, he is shooting almost 38 percent from the arc. Rice has helped Humboldt to a 16-win season scoring 17.5 points a game and he plays both guard spots. Had a good 17u season with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560772' first='Micah' last='Schmidt'] of Watertown-Mayer (6'3). Schmidt is a player that has dealt with a broken ankle and has responded with a good senior season. Good athlete when he is fully healthy, Schmidt can shoot it and good with the attack as well. Scored 15 points a game on a Royals team that has three good scorers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2052733' first='Ben' last='Sieben'] of St. Paul Academy (5'10). SPA is 19-7 on the season and look to move on in the playoffs tomorrow against St.Croix Prep. SCP is going to need to find Sieben who is scoring 16.5 points a game and doing it hitting more than half of his threes! Ben is nearly a 53 percent three point shooter taking six or seven triples a contest. There is going to be D3 schools that want that type of shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399197' first='Judsen' last='Whittaker'] of Dassel-Cokato (6'4). Whittaker is an interesting story. He has grown from a 6'2 guard to a 6'4 forward and in doing that Judsen has become a 22 point per game scorer for a Charger team that went from 7-20 last season, to 14-14 this year. Whittaker was a big part of that improvement and there were times where Judsen physically took over some games this year.
