It was a coming out party for the sophomore big man in the first round, as he dominated play in the paint. 23 points and 16 rebounds speak for themselves, but the way Mitchell got those points were impressive - he ran the floor for finishes and showed a super soft touch in the paint, including face-up jumpers. In fact, he opened the game with a three from the corner that was all net.

The senior wing was aggressive from the very jump, attacking the basket with all sorts of dribble-drive moves and finishing around the hoop with his length and athleticism. He ended up converting at a high percentage, shooting 9-for-15 from the floor, and it wasn't just about scoring for himself as he also shared the team lead with 3 assists.

It didn't matter what defense Canby threw at Montague, he sliced and diced his way through it. Using his quick dribble, shifty moves including a Eurostep or two, the senior guard was able to get to the basket at will and score at a very high percentage (7-for-10 field goal shooting). He posted a team-high 5 assists and was active on the defensive end as well, with 3 steals. A perfect 6-for-6 shooting at the charity stripe helped seal the deal late in the game.

Whether he's the go-to guy on offense or a secondary option - the latter was more the case on Wednesday - one thing's always for sure, the sophomore is going to get things done in a matter that doesn't waste movement. He capably hit catch-and-shoot shots and was also able to convert a couple of his lefty one-handed runners in the lane. No threes for the solid shooter but 6-fot-13 overall from the field.

The top performance from a player that wasn't on the winning side came from Gray, who posted an impressive 25 points. The sweet-shooting guard was sharp withhis shot either from distance or off the dribble, knocking down 8-for-14 from the field including a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range. A tremendous athlete, the senior was able to show that off with a hard drive and two-handed flush in traffic in the second half.
