Heights won handily in their first meeting 66-50, but Wichita East played the predators in this one, thanks to a huge 40 point performance by PG [player_tooltip player_id='2205722' first='Luke' last='Henderson'] and a solid back-court out-of-bounds play drawn up by the head coach, Carlin Whitten of the East Blue Aces that was run to perfection and sealed by PG [player_tooltip player_id='2831748' first='Jamaal' last='Garrett'] in double Overtime, the Blue Aces might've gotten their biggest win of the year so far. By the second half and overtime, it looked like he was taking over the game and even recaptured the lead in the 4th and OT with his ability to draw contact and gain penetration in the lanes to get to the FT line.
