Strong frame and is a solid athlete running the floor and swatting shots.&nbsp; Flashes as a shooter knocking in spot up threes on occasion.&nbsp; Touch and feel scoring around the basket through and around contact. Quick second jump on the glass.&nbsp; Finishes out of the dunker spot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2395586' first='Amir' last='Beasley'] (Danville – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beasley is among the top power forwards in the class.&nbsp; Long and lanky frame with fluid athleticism.&nbsp; Beast in the open floor handling it weaving through defenders for scores in the paint.&nbsp; Upside is insane here!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2538631' first='Grant' last='Smith'] (Lyons – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith is among the better wings in the 2028 class.&nbsp; As a sophomore he is averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds a game for Lyons.&nbsp; Super bouncy prospect with size on the wing.&nbsp; Brings big time shot making spotting up from the perimeter along with being able to slash, play in the open floor, and use his quickness on the glass.&nbsp; Gets downhill and explodes off two feet in the paint.&nbsp; Brings a lot of versatility to the table as&nbsp; future D1 prospect!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2751064' first='Cesaire' last='Bile'] (Galesburg – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 6'4” wing is one to watch with his long and lanky frame.&nbsp; Capable shooter spotting up from beyond the arc with a free and easy release.&nbsp; Length plays well on the defensive end.&nbsp; Active as a two way prospect that can finish on dump off passes along with in transition.&nbsp; Three and D wing to track!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Elijah Schweitzer (Rochelle – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sophomore 6'5” 220 pound post who is also a legit football prospect.&nbsp; Low post big man that is active on the defensive end and glass.&nbsp; Has some athletic pop along with touch around the hoop with hook shots along with solid footwork.&nbsp; Can face up taking it off the bounce.&nbsp; Clean release from three showcasing spot up potential.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>William Mack (CICS Northtown Academy – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Scoring point guard that is quick and shifty with the ball in his hands.&nbsp; This allows him to get in the paint making difficult shots along with getting to the foul line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2906299' first='Jackson' last='Wood'] (Kankakee Trinity Academy – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wood is a 6'3” two guard from a high school I honestly had never heard of in Trinity Christian.&nbsp; Guard with good size and strength that gets in the paint being able to finish along with kick to shooters.&nbsp; Solid looking jumper with a bit of a slow release spotting up, but pours them in at a super high clip.&nbsp; Overpowers weaker opponents on straight line takes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2403463' first='Verton' last='Freeman'] (Grayslake Central – 2029)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Freeman is a 6'1” freshman guard who does a ton of damage in transition.&nbsp; Good finisher in fastbreak situations.&nbsp; Acrobatic finisher at the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaeden Austin (Eisenhower – 2029)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'0” freshman guard loves to let it fly from deep.&nbsp; Clean looking shot mechanically from beyond the arc.&nbsp; Moves well off the ball.&nbsp; Name to watch going forward.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Carter Jackson (Pleasant Plains – 2029)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson is a 5'9” freshman point guard who runs the Pleasant Plains offense.&nbsp; He can knock down shots from beyond the arc with deep range on his shot.&nbsp; Moves well without the ball in his hands to get open.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
