It's Tuesday morning and you know what that means! We preview and predict the games of the day and give you a player to know!

St. Paul Central at 5AAA St. Paul Johnson

Player to Watch. [player_tooltip player_id='2710243' first='Sefi' last='Whittington']. The Central guard is shooting over 40 percent from the arc this season and averaging 18.6 points per game and..... he had a game high 15 points when Central beat Johnson by a dozen in mid-January. Sefi is one of the seniors that has surely put in work and had a great senior season.

Prediction. I feel like this will be a game that is close, Johnson has a late late, and Central steals it late with a 65-64 victory.

1A Henning at New York Mills

Player to Watch. Jacob Thorsrud and Gage Brase. Both players had double-doubles for New York Mills last Friday in a 40 point victory. Thorsrud is interesting. He is 6'5 and agile, and does a lot for NYM around the basket helping them to 14-3 on the season. Brase is more of an athletic working wing.

Prediction. The number one team in the state taking on a 14-3 team on the road in a hostile environment. Nothing better than that. And while it is a challenge, [player_tooltip player_id='1560827' first='Kale' last='Misegades'] is about to have a triple double leading his team to a 13 point win.

10AAAA Hopkins at 9AAA Mankato East

Player to Watch. [player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore']. This is basically us telling you that Jayden is the lone [player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] is the lone Minnesotan named as a McDonald's All-American Nominee. Jayden has an entire set of school records now at Hopkins AND is close to becoming the all time assists leader in the state of Minnesota. And....

Prediction. I think Hopkins is about to go to Mankato and earn a 14 point win, about 85-71 against Mankato East.

3AAAA Buffalo at 8AA Southwest Christian

Player to Watch. [player_tooltip player_id='2845973' first='Jack' last='Burke'] of Southwest Christian. If the Stars are going to pull off the small school private school upset over the big school state title contender one player that is going to need a big game is Burke. Jack just had a 41 point game against Westonka and had 26 in a recent loss to Holy Family. He is scoring 22.1 a game.

Prediction. Buffalo wins by 13 but I think the Stars will put up a spirited fight for a bit.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa at Triton

Player to Watch. [player_tooltip player_id='2375788' first='William' last='Thiemann'] of Triton. Petersohn is having a monster season and Triton is 20-3 pushing their way close to the top ten in Class AA. As good as Pierce is, the Cobras are also getting help from the 6'6 junior who is averaging 17 points and eight rebounds a game.

Prediction. The Cobras have won 14 games in a row including recent big wins over JWP and Lake City. Zumbrota-Mazeppa has had a couple recent struggles against good teams so we take the home team 70-67.

Eagan at 8AAAA Lakeville South

Player to Watch. [player_tooltip player_id='1560811' first='Collin' last='Johnson']. The South senior guard has been playing really good basketball as of late upping his average to 12 a game and helping South win 10 of their last 11 games. Collin recently had 21 to beat Eastview, 20 against North, and 17 in the Friday win over Burnsville.

Prediction. Let's try and reverse this trend shall we? I picked South to win all three games that they have lost this year, and I have picked against them three times and they won those games. I am 0-6 picking South this year. So.... Lakeville South 72 Eagan 66.

10AA Annandale at Watertown-Mayer

Player to Watch. Sam Plahn of Watertown-Mayer. The Royals just seem to be better than expected nearly every season. They are 14-6 this year with [player_tooltip player_id='1560776' first='Isaac' last='Ostlie'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560772' first='Micah' last='Schmidt'] having big years as seniors, but also getting 18.5 points a game from Sam Plahn, a 6'4 sophomore. Sam just had 27 against New London-Spicer and 22 in the win over Le Sueur-Henderson.

Prediction. Annandale has won 13 games in a row and most of the games weren't very close. As much as a surprise as WM has been, I pick the Cards 74-64.
