<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Week 13 of the Indiana high school basketball is underway and we had a big slate of high school hoops going on Thursday night in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at a few highlights from Tuesday night.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2024513' first='Nick' last='Shrewsberry'] joins 1k point club</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last night, South Bend St. Joseph was able to get a big time road win over Goshen last night with the final score being 80-75 in overtime. This win for the Huskies was their 10th win in a row making them one of the hottest teams in all of Class 4A right now. The story of the night however, was senior wing nick Shrewsberry joining the prestigious 1,000 point club. Shrewsberry will be playing for his father at Notre Dame next season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1988138' first='Drew' last='Haffner'] goes off again</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Indiana was in attendance for one of the best single-player performances of the night. Westfield was able to defeat University 71-49 to give the Shamrocks their 12th win of the season. While this was a team effort by Westfield to get the win, the guy that without question led them was senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1988138' first='Drew' last='Haffner']. Haffner -- who is committed to Abilene Christian University -- scored a game-high 32 points on the night. Haffner has been playing lights out over the course of the last few weeks. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kokomo wins 8th straight </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Wildkats of Kokomo High School are on a roll right now and building momentum at the right time. In a 79-59 win over Indy Metro, Kokomo got their 8th-straight win putting them at 15-5 on the season. [player_tooltip player_id='1561440' first='Korbyn' last='Hammel'] -- who scored 21 points -- moved into 12th on Kokomo's scoring list with 1,094. Kokomo is looking like the favorite to win Sectional 7 at this time. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
