The Road to Coliseum is heating up, with the playoffs right around the corner for Class A, B-1 and B-2. This merited a road trip out to Okarcha. Where the Class A back to back and top ranked Warriors hosted Class B-1 second ranked Calumet. Both teams love to press and push the tempo, but Okarche started hot and never cooled off in their 117-68 win.

One of the most prolific scorers in Oklahoma had himself quite a night. He hit a pair of early threes to start the game and then never cooled off. Finished with 7-10 shooting from deep, including the three pointer in the early fourth that cleared the 100 point for Okarche. But he's not just a scorer, has improved his vision as an outstanding creator. As a whole, Okarche hit 24 three pointers on the night. And quite a few of them were off Mueggenborg's assists. He knows he draws attention on drives and always makes the right play. While also constantly pushing the tempo off rebounds and even makes. The senior is looking to put a cap on a fantastic career with a third straight Class A title.

Head of the snake for Calumet. Always moving, always applying on the ball pressure and hustling on defense. Had spurts of success on offense. Can hit from deep and finish around the rim. Needs to be more fluid and quicker getting into his shots, as the speed of Okarche seemed to negatively impact some of his attempts. Liked the vision he showed on one baseline drive, where he wrapped a pass around a couple defenders to an open teammate. Tough loss but the goal of bringing another Gold Ball home to Calumet is very much still alive.

The Warriors made it rain from three, including five threes from senior starter Kirby. He naturally fits in perfectly to their fun to watch style. He hit an early triple and helped Okarche never let up in the win. While he took plenty from distance, he also looks to pass to his teammates. Baseball is likely his future in athletics, but is currently leaving a last mark on his small town as they push for another title.

Voss is a baseball-basketball standout, who brings an edge to the Chieftains. Tough and strong around the rim, easily shrugged off contact on And 1 finishes. Was very active as a rebounder on both ends of the court. Good elevation to high point contest boards. Baseball background was apparent with the vision, accuracy and ability to pass on the move. Leading to great passes for easy transition points for his teammates. Voss was a key part of last year's Class B State Title team, and his impact will be even bigger this year if they win it all in Class B-1.

Silky smooth shooter who came off the bench and drained 6 threes. Has the type of soft shot that the net barely moves and it looks likely every shot is going in. Sumrall appears to have untapped upside. Is long armed and gangly, moving like he's still growing. If he grows a couple more inches and retains his shooting ability, would be very appealing to regional colleges.
