About Jett
Expert Analysis

The 6’3″ senior was once again a scoring machine this season. Mueggenborg led Okarche to a third straight state championship. In the process, he poured in over 28 points per game. In the title game, Jett had 35 points, to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Mueggenborg plays under control and really showed strides in reading defenses this season. Not only can he shoot from the perimeter and finish creatively with his left hand, but he set up teammates all season long with his court vision and passing.

The senior guard put a capper on possibly one of the more overlooked recent Oklahoma careers. He’s gone for Gold three years straight in Class A, absolutely dominating the classification with double digit wins being the norm. Often winning by 20+ points. Which was the case this year as the Warriors dominated the Class A State Tournament. And a lot of comes from Mueggenborg’s ability to process the game quickly. Great anticipation and feel for the game shows up on both ends of the court. Always in the passing lanes for steals and has always had great vision and feel as a passer. Complete guard, with winning traits who should help raise the floor and fit naturally into the UCO program.

It says something about how good of a player Mueggenborg is that he put up 36 points and 11 rebounds, and it’s basically just another chapter in his impressive book. Never really got it going as a perimeter shooter, but was all action on drives, transition and offensive putbacks. Especially as seven of his boards were of the offensive variety. Simply processes the game faster than nearly everyone else on the court and basically cruised to his gaudy numbers. Now is only two wins from completing the three-peat in Class A.

One of the most prolific scorers in Oklahoma had himself quite a night. He hit a pair of early threes to start the game and then never cooled off. Finished with 7-10 shooting from deep, including the three pointer in the early fourth that cleared the 100 point for Okarche. But he’s not just a scorer, has improved his vision as an outstanding creator. As a whole, Okarche hit 24 three pointers on the night. And quite a few of them were off Mueggenborg’s assists. He knows he draws attention on drives and always makes the right play. While also constantly pushing the tempo off rebounds and even makes. The senior is looking to put a cap on a fantastic career with a third straight Class A title.

Pure bucket getter who has lead Okarche to back to back to Class A titles. A fun mix of hard working game, and the occasional flair with no look passes and acrobatic finishes. Shooting form is a bit unorthodox, but almost never see his shot blocked. Mueggenborg has continued to improve his on the ball skills, becoming more of a combo instead of just a two guard. This development has helped Okarche to back to back Class A titles. Including an undefeated run this past year.

Quieter shooting performance from deep for Mueggenborg but still a productive day. Did more of his work in the mid-range, and at the rim. While also showing off his continual improving ball handler and playmaking skills. Including a very nifty, tight window feed out of a pick and roll. Has developed into one of the more complete guards in Oklahoma. With a small school game that would produce at any level of competition in Oklahoma high school basketball.

It doesn’t matter the level of competition, Mueggenborg is going to get buckets. Has college ready range from deep, and also can score in the mid-range. Does a good job of setting up defenders when he’s coming off of screens. While also knowing how to set screens himself, then pop to open spaces where he’s seemingly automatic. He’s the main man for his back to back Class A champs Warriors, while his reps with Team Oklahoma also show how his game can translate to the next level. Which spoiler alert, he will. It’s simple. He’s a shooter who can play off the ball, help out some on the ball and is smart as a defender.

February 1st, 2024. That’s the last Mueggenborg and Okarche have lost a high school basketball game. The sharpshooting guard has guided the Warriors to back to back Class A titles. Including this past year’s undefeated run. He leads their breakneck pace in transition and aggressive defense. While also routinely hitting big threes and drives to the rim in the half court. The fact that he gets his big time scoring production in the flow of the offense, is a good indicator that he will adjust well to the next level.

One of Oklahoma’s small town stars is enjoying a strong spring for a successful Team Oklahoma 17U program. His highlights reinforce his status as a premier knockdown shooter. While also showing his expanding off the dribble game, the mid-range was regularly on display this high school season. But he also looks like he’s worked on his handle and has more change of pace ability on drives. With a pair of Class A titles and now even more summer success, Mueggenborg is a no brainer for regional colleges that want shooting, winning and production.

The lefty is one of the best shooters in the class, and is putting together one of the best high school resumes in Oklahoma. Made state as a freshman, then followed it up by winning Class A last year. So far this year he’s led the Warriors to an undefeated mark. And has done so in style for a run and gun team that regularly blows out foes by 20 or more. He’s an automatic spot up threat, with a crafty game off the bounce. While primarily a scorer, Mueggenborg does have good vision and quick processing. Especially with some of the passes he makes in transition.
