On winning teams there is always a pecking order, with stars usually receiving the lion's share of attention and praise. But there are always vital teammates that play a huge part in team success while flying under the radar. Today we're going to shine a light on some of those players.

-A sophomore prospect that has a versatile skillbase to build from, Pierre-Louis has been effective this season as a starter for a balanced Georgetown Prep group. He spent time guarding Skipworth in the halfcourt, had a well-timed face cut for a basket just before half, knocked down a 3 early in the 2H, and was active in help throughout the evening. Pierre-Louis continues to climb our rankings as he projects to be an effective 3+D wing with some shot-creation upside.

-The lacrosse standout brings his IQ and motor to a Severna Park team that has picked up some nice wins this season. Havens does all of the little things that add up to winning as a wing prospect that hits the glass hard at both ends of the floor, moves well off the ball, and sprints the floor hard in transition for his team. Havens started things off with an AND1 reverse layup finish, scored off a one dribble pull middie in transition, drew a huge charge in transition to preserve a SP lead, scored on a well-timed cut from the corner to hit the game-tying layup just before the 4Q buzzer, and knocked down his FTs down the final stretch of the OT period to preserve the win.

-The sophomore wing looked good in his minutes throughout the game as a rangy prospect that can impact the game in several different areas. His size and movement skills allow him to be used in different spots within the Bulldogs lineup as a switchable defender. Floyd transferred into Bullis this summer and I am high on his long-term upside as a prospect once he becomes more acclimated with the offensive and defensive systems that Coach runs throughout the game.

-The senior leader for Bullis has enjoyed a pretty strong season as a starter for the Bulldogs. The handle has improved to allow him to get into tighter gaps in the defense to create for teammates on the perimeter and his bigs on the blocks. Defensively, he has been a feisty guard defender adept at tracking shooters by navigating ball screens in the half court. But his trademark skill is the perimeter shooting, and he had three huge 3s in this matchup. Boisi knocked down two 3s early in the 1Q to help the home team build a healthy lead then hit a huge wing 3 to cut the GP lead to 3 with just under 2 mins left in 4Q. His work with a young group of guards has helped to stabilize and buoy a team that is enduring some growing pains with several starters from last year's team moving on to the college level.

-The Coastal Carolina football commit gave the Stags a huge boost off the bench as a physical post presence that made several timely plays to help his team win without scoring. Stevens took 3 huge charges, the last of which fouled out the opposing leading scorer, to really flip the tide for the Stags. I liked his patience and unselfish play at the offensive end as well- as Stevens moved to space in the defense to serve as a roll target or connector for perimeter shooters while also setting screens well both on and off the ball. If he can continue performing at a high level down the stretch, it will give DM a nice 2-way option to guard opposing bigs.

-Loved the way that Jones impacted the game without having the ball in his hands for most of the game. Jones blocked a 3, ripped away an offensive rebound from his opponent to start the break for SP before collecting an assist to a teammate in transition, collected a drive n kick assist to shooter, knocked down a big 3 from the wing in the 4Q after snagging the offensive rebound, and hit two big FTs in OT to help close the game out against Crofton. With the handle and jumper off the catch polished enough to keep the defense honest, Severna Park's glue guy should be key for his team down the stretch run of the season.
