The state tournament is set to tip off in a couple of days with a little over 300 teams looking to take home a sectional title. The front court play can determine games during the postseason, especially in South Jersey. Here are the under the radar prospects to track in the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2932055' first='Milan' last='Suarez'], 6'6 PF Gloucester Tech 2028

Suarez has been a force down low for the Jaguars all season long, averaging nearly 20 points and 14 rebounds per game. The 6'6 forward has a nice touch around the basket and can draw contact in the paint. Suarez can also put the ball on the floor and sets strong screens in the half court. He is a force on the boards and swats a ton of shots around the basket. Suarez is a double-double machine who should continue to be a force in the paint during the state tournament.

Ezra Carter, 6'2 SF Moorestown 2026

Carter has the ability to play either spot on the perimeter, making him an intriguing prospect to track. The 6'2 wing uses his quick first step to blow by his defender and finishes well around the basket. Carter can also score in the mid-range and his range extends out to the three-point line. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Carter's ability to score inside and out is something that will help Moorestown throughout the state tournament.

Jamil Hudson, 6'2 SF Pleasantville 2026

Hudson has had some big games for the Greyhounds this season and is looking to duplicate his success during the postseason. The 6'2 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and can draw contact around the basket. Hudson moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He slides his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Hudson has a pair of 30-point games this season and will be looking to have another game like that during the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2988435' first='Cameron' last='Brown'], 6'5 SF/SG Riverside 2026

Brown is one of the most slept on prospects in the 2026 class as he has been one of the top forwards in the BCSL. The 6'5 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and has a soft touch around the rim. Brown has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and has a smooth release on his jumper. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses good timing to swat shots around the rim. Brown is a versatile wing prospect who should put his game on full display in the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2981747' first='Gavin' last='Gerckens'], 6'7 C/PF Southern 2027

Gerckens has established himself as a presence in the paint for the Rams and should do so again in the state tournament. The 6'7 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks and layups in transition. Gerckens has a nice touch in the paint and has a high release on his jumper. He is a force on the boards and uses his length to block shots around the rim. Gerckens is one of the top shot-blockers in the Shore Conference and will show why during the opening round of the state tournament.
