He is a good shooter that knocks down shots in rhythm, off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations. Defensively he accepts the challenge of guarding the opposing tea's best player. The most impressive part of his game is ability and willingness to fly around on defense and block shots. He is aggressive with the ball in his hands and works to get down hill. He has the size and athleticism for next level play and finishes easily through contact. Add in his ability to shoot and he is ready for college play. He is a high IQ guard that uses the mid-range shot as his primary weapon making him complicated to control on the court. If the three ball is not there he can get to the rim, but if there is space in between he can pull up and score with high efficiency. Mire has all of those characteristics but he goes beyond that and adds playmaking. Dean is a Swiss army knife player. He does all of the dirty work and finds a way to score in the creases of the game. He crashes the boards and frustrates bigger defenders. He can knock down the three point shot, and uses his handle to get to his spots. He is quick decision maker and plays well with high scoring guards.
