He has a natural instinct for being in the right place at the right time and making the right plays when opportunities arise. Operating primarily inside the three-point line, he consistently delivered when the team needed a basket.

Standing at a lean 6’3″, he handles the ball efficiently, using his dribbling primarily to create scoring opportunities. Dean is the perfect complementary player because his game doesn’t demand attention; if he’s open, he’ll take the shot. If he sees a path to the basket, he quickly moves into triple threat, makes a decisive play, and then hustles back on defense.

He scored 18 points while playing alongside a team full of scorers. Young players should take note of his playing style to learn how to score without needing the ball. Through back cuts, screens, and constant movement, he was the X-factor in a significant win against Carroll High School.
