These are the names to know and the kids that have proven the work is showing. Taking the steady path to improvement and carving a spot on the team and contributing to winning. These are the guys that can fit in anywhere and adjust to a role and excel. Every year they add something else to their game, but always do what's best for the time. These guys can do it all, and do whatever it takes for the Team to be successful. He is a three level scorer with elite athleticism. He is smooth with the ball in his hands and confident on the court. His game is polished, but still developing which will surely gather interest for next level competition. His size, athleticism, skill and demeanor are all box checks for this 2027 prospect.     Turner is having another stellar season and his efforts have contributed to Huntington being ranked as a Top 10 team in the state. Turner has all of the glue guy qualities, but in recent games he has shown his ability to knock down the catch and shoot three. This aspect of his game expands his potential at the next level. His athleticism and motor are without question next level, but high level three point shooter makes him even tougher to defend. Turner has put in the weight room work, and got the shots up and shown improvement. The playoffs could be the stage for his breakout.     Madison is one of the top high schools in the state and there are names that have emerged as players to watch. One player that has not made the headlines is Henderson. Henderson is the glue guy that keeps it all together and the chameleon that changes roles each game. What remains is his constant production on both ends. His game is simple and in and around the paint. He can finish at the rim, step out and knock down the mid-range shot. He is a work horse on the court and makes the winning plays. Remember the name heading into the playoffs with Madison poised to make a deep run this year.     Traylor is an under rated prospect in the state but if you watch him play, he is a prototypical college basketball player. He is 6'4+. He is a solid ball handler, elite above the rim finisher and high level rebounder. He can knock down the mid range shot, and works well on the baseline. All of this attributes make him one to watch in Louisiana and with Ferriday looking like a favorite for State this season, he will no longer be a North Louisiana hidden gem. Traylor is a next level prospect for sure.     I watched Thomas at the beginning of the season and he looked like a solid piece to a good team. After watching him again, there is obvious growth and today he looks like a college prospect. His ability to score the ball, and make it look effortless is evidence of IQ and overall basketball understanding. Honestly, he can just flat out shoot the ball. His physical development will determine his next level potential, but the basketball stuff is all right there. Quitman could break through and make a deep playoff run with him developing at this rate.
