Turner is having another stellar season and his efforts have contributed to Huntington being ranked as a Top 10 team in the state. Turner has all of the glue guy qualities, but in recent games he has shown his ability to knock down the catch and shoot three. This aspect of his game expands his potential at the next level. His athleticism and motor are without question next level, but high level three point shooter makes him even tougher to defend. Turner has put in the weight room work, and got the shots up and shown improvement. The playoffs could be the stage for his breakout.

Turner is quietly having an impressive season by continuing to develop and add skills to his bag. He is long, athletic and explosive with a solid handle and trusted jump shot. His 12 points was vital in a big day two win of the invitational. Turner is a top player in the state with tons of upside and his ceiling is yet to be determined. Lock him in as a glue guy that does all the right things consistently, but when he is aggressive, he can score the ball as well.

Turner turned in a 15 point performance and showcased his all around game in a tough loss. Turner has all the tools required for next level success, and he is actively seeking more opportunities to showcase his improved skill set. Turner shot the three ball, hit a couple mid range shots, and finished at the rim with an effortless dunk. When he is aggressive he can score the ball, and on the defensive side of the ball he is active and intimidating. Huntington has an aggressive schedule and Turner could be the X factor for key match ups.

Turner had a chance to show his offensive ability in the second half of the Doc Edwards championship loss. His ability to attack and finish at the rim was on full display. Turner finished despite being challenged by Hudson at the rim. He also showed the ability to shoot over shot blocking height. Turner also showed an ability to spot up from three as well. His second half may spark him being another scorer in the Raider attack going forward the rest of the season.

Turner has a skill set that is ever-evolving. He is the prototype of a two-way player. Austin can defend multiple players using his height and length. He has active hands and plays passing lanes extremely well. Offensively, he can score from the perimeter and the paint. Turner is a player who can take over games on either end of the floor. He has a very high ceiling.
