January quickly gave way to February, and while that means we're nearing the start of high school tournament time, we're also entering the busiest commitment window of the season!

Below are nine prospects that have recently announced their plans for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560936' first='James' last='Sanderson']

Sanderson, a guard out of the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, ended his recruitment with a commitment to Louisiana Tech University. A high level athlete at the guard position, Sanderson does a great job of getting a piece of the paint off the bounce and then making plays for others as a facilitator. He's a high level finisher around the rim, can make shots from behind the perimeter off the bounce or off the catch, and has the ability to be a disruptive defender at the point of attack. He could develop into one of the better two-way guards in Conference USA over time and has a chance to make an immediate impact at Louisiana Tech.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818596' first='AJ' last='Moody']

Moody, a wing out of Windham High School in Maine, made his plans official when he announced that he will attend Plymouth State University. A two-time state champion, Moody is a two-way wing that does a nice job of defending multiple positions and making plays off the bounce in the open floor. He's done a good job of developing his perimeter jumper, has the ability to chase down rebounds on the offensive end of the floor, and competes at a high level defensively. He's the type of recruit that typically finds success at Plymouth State and should be able to carve out a nice four-year career in the Little East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553711' first='AJ' last='Trimboli']

Trimboli, a guard out of the King School in Connecticut, finalized his plans for the next level when he pledged his commitment to Florida Southern College. One of the better scorers in New England this winter, Trimboli is not only an excellent shooter, but has proven to be incredibly efficient too. He does a nice job of moving without the basketball, leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes, and is capable of making plays for others off the bounce too. His ability to make shots should allow him to quickly carve out a role at Florida Southern, where he could eventually develop into one of the best shot makers in the Sunshine State Conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='3456030' first='Dylan' last='Gendron']

Gendron, a guard out of Sanford High School in Maine, wrapped up his recruitment and announced that he will attend the University of Southern Maine. A quality shooter in catch and shoot situations, Gendron has evolved as a multi-level scorer this winter that also makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. He scores it in transition and in the half-court and also has the ability to make plays in passing lanes on the defensive end of the floor. With his feel for the game offensively, I'd expect him to have a nice four-year career at Soutern Maine, where he'll fit nicely as a scorer in the Little East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2875588' first='Lino' last='Sanchez']

Sanchez, a guard out of the Beaver Country Day School in Massachusetts, decided on his future plans with an announcement that he will attend Union College. The combo guard does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he's disruptive at the point of attack and also in passing lanes, where he turns defense into transition offense. Offensively, he has the ability to score it at all three levels, is really good in catch and shoot situations, and also shows some high level vision as a passer. The crafty guard could quickly crack the rotation at Union and has a chance to grow into an all-league type performer in the Liberty League.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384646' first='Brayden' last='Harris']

Harris, a wing out of the MacDuffie School in Massachusetts, wrapped up his recruitment with a pledge to the University of California, Riverside. Harris has great positional size, plays with some wiggle off the bounce, crashes the offensive glass, and has the ability to score at a high clip in the mid-range. He's a solid athlete, which he uses to his advantage on both ends of the floor, particularly on defense, where he's a multi-positional defender and high level rebounder. He's had a terrific winter on the east coast and I expect that will carry over at UC Riverside, where he should be one of the better first year wings in the Big West.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696662' first='Javi' last='Lopez']

Lopez, a guard out of Central Catholic High School in Massachusetts, finalized his plans for next year when he announced that he will attend Brandeis University. One of the top scorers to come out of the MIAA in recent memory, Lopez does a great job of getting his baskets within the flow of the offense. His game is smooth, he knows how to get to his spots off the bounce, and he never looks like he's forcing the issue. He can defend any spot on the perimeter and, on top of that, has proven that he can help a team win a lot of games. Lopez is a major recruiting win for Brandeis and has the chance to not only make an immediate impact, but to play his way into multiple all-league selections in the UAA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696707' first='Gabe' last='Jackson']

Jackson, a guard out of South Portland High School in Maine, came off the board when he pledged his commitment to the University of New England. A really shifty ball-handler, Jackson does a nice job of creating scoring opportunities while getting downhill. He plays with a lot of creativity as a finisher around the rim and also has the ability to get into his perimeter jumper by creating space off the bounce. The lead guard should be able to make a quick impact at UNE, where he could develop into a quality two-way guard in the CNE.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553829' first='Kody' last='Jamieson']

Jamieson, a guard out of Marianapolis Preparatory School in Connecticut, put an end to his recruitment when he announced that he will attend Gordon College. Jamieson does a nice job of rebounding out of the guard spot, has the ability to operate as a primary ball-handler in the half-court, and makes good reads when playing out of ball screens. He does a nice job in rotations off the ball defensively, has some creativity as a scorer around the rim, and can make shots from behind the arc in catch and shoot situations. Jamieson has the makeup of a quality recruit for Gordon, where I'd expect he'll have a nice four-year career in the CNE.
