<p><strong>Playoff Central</strong>. But before we get to our..... "Three Win Teams of Glory" we need to tip the cap to four win juggernaut United South Central! USC had four regular season wins and earned their fifth victory beating Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 89-86 in overtime.Junior center Jayden Barnick continues to lead USC.</p>

<p><strong>The Big Stage</strong>. FULL DAY OF GAMES! The lost tradition from many parts of Minnesota high school basketball is the long day of section games where you can sit down and watch four, five, or even six games! </p>

<p>You can still get that in Section 3A TODAY as both Worthington High School and Montevideo High School host a full day of basketball. So get that popcorn popping and the hot dogs rolling! And what could see there?</p>

<li>Do you believe in miracles? Central Minnesota Christian is a state contender. LQPV just won their fourth game. Impossible? Most likely, but everybody is searching for a miracle. <br><br>Yellow Medicine East vs Dawson-Boyd. Same Story. A four win YME team that just won game four taking on the defending champs who are state ranked. Do you believe in miracles? Or at least want to see a top team play? That game is also in Montevideo.<br><br>Another ranked team in Montevideo? Yep! That is Wabasso High School who plays Minneota. If you want to see quality talent head over to Montevideo. And maybe you will see the upset of the year!<br><br>As for Worthington.... You get a look at another team trying for the state tournament, that is top ten ranked Hills-Beaver Creek who faces Red Rock Central. <br><br>And... the best games of the day will be between Westbrook-Walnut Grove and Murray County Central, as well as RTR taking on Edgerton. These are all winning record, quality basketball teams fighting to play next week. <br></li>

<p><strong>Upset City</strong>. Do you know what the basketball Gods are loving right now? Three win regular season teams. For the third time a three win team (Marty County West) has won as they beat New Ulm Cathedral 87-84 in overtime! Senior wing Chase Owen had a big time double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead MCW to the win. </p>

<p><strong>Top Performers</strong>. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2841024' first='Jaydon' last='Johnson'] scored 21 points and 6'4 junior Coy Thone had a double-double as Luverne took out St. James 81-74 to move on in the playoffs. Luverne now has 20 wins and gets their shot at defending section champs Montevideo next week. </p>

<p>Litchfield got another big game from Geideon Boerema who had 24 points while senior big [player_tooltip player_id='2480990' first='Noah' last='Dietel'] had 18 points and 14 boards for the Dragons to beat Eden Valley-Watkins. Next up for Litch? A game with Minnewaska next Tuesday!</p>

<p><strong>Tip of the Hat to the Career</strong>.Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg won 17 games this year and had a nice season. It was not many years ago that this was a struggling program winning single digits games. That said, the last five years KMS has won 82 games and this senior class has been a part of the program growing. Guys like Teagan Diederich, Hunter Engelke and Gavin Mulder. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2843342' first='Jackson' last='Armstrong'] is next up. </p>
