Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a talented group of forwards that we watched at the Nixa Invitational Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194413' first='Adam' last='McKnight'] (Nixa): The 6'4" 2027 power forward has been effective since he entered the Eagles program with his bull in a china shop, physical style of play. He loves the contact around the basket and he just keeps bringing it to the defense. He gets excellent position in the low post and he can also drive it from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2334971' first='Jackson' last='Smith'] (Staley): The 6'5" 2027 forward was a force in the game that I watched against Hillcrest in the consolation bracket. He played with good physicality around the rim. He was getting good seals in the post to finish. He was setting strong screens and scoring well as a roller. He also scored on a couple of rim runs in transition. He capped it off with a 3-pointer off the pick and pop.

[player_tooltip player_id='2536441' first='Donnovan' last='Fonville'] (Park Hill): A 6'5" 2026 forward who is a big matchup problem with his quickness, athleticism and a versatile skill set. He can use the jab step or a quick burst to beat the defender on the drive. He has a nice pull up jumper and he can score on the finger role. His footwork is excellent in the low post as he works the middle of the zone defense effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2706483' first='Marcus' last='Moore'] ([player_tooltip player_id='2873530' first='Logan' last=''] Rogersville): The 6'7" 2026 power forward was limited by foul trouble in the championship game against Marquette, but he was a pillar of strength when he was in the game. He has physical strength, good footwork and fundamentals in the low post. He catches the ball well and he had some tough finishes inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2114720' first='Kenison' last='Stone'] (Staley): The 6'5" 2026 forward plays with one of the most impressive motors that you will see. He was constantly on the move and making things happen. He was very effective as a slasher and he was hitting the 15 footer off the dribble. He also used his size to go inside and post up smaller defenders when he got the mismatches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2117946' first='Alex' last='Komorech'] (Marquette): The 6'6" 2026 forward had a strong tournament in helping lead the Mustangs to the championship game. He had 13 points and eight rebounds against Staley in the first round and 16 points and eight rebounds against Nixa in the semifinals. He was very skilled around the basket and he was also stepping out and hitting pick and pop 3-pointers.

Jayven Jones (Hillcrest): The 6'6" 2027 forward has emerged as one of the top frontcourt players in the Springfield area. He is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker and his offensive game has continued to grow. He was hitting 3-pointers off the catch and throwing down dunks in the half court off the alley oop on in transition. He plays with a ton of energy, which makes him even tougher to handle with his length and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='2338886' first='Parker' last='Hoffman'] (Marquette): The 6'8" 2027 forward had a solid tournament in helping the Mustangs to the championship game. He displayed a nice shooting touch in the paint and he also attacked the offensive boards very well. He was a force in the victory over host Nixa in the semifinals with 18 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots. He also hit a 3-pointer in the win.
