2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2231637' first='Lincoln' last='Norris'] (Knoxville) -- 38 points (13-26 FG, 12-19 3P), 3 rebounds, 4 steals [at Albia]

Norris is one of the state's elite flamethrowers from the 3-point line, and he got scorching hot against the Demons, burying 12 3-pointers, a number that ranks tied for second all-time for most made 3s in a game.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2413548' first='Nolan' last='Ehlinger'] (Maquoketa) -- 35 points (14-26 FG, 2-10 3P, 5-7 FT), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals [vs. Easton Valley]

An explosive scoring guard, Ehlinger had his highest scoring outburst of the season last week, dropping 35 points on the River Hawks. He's a quick-twitch athlete who is capable of knocking down 3s, but he's at his best when he's using his speed and handles to attack the bucket.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1978115' first='Trey' last='Bryte'] (ADM) -- 33 points (12-17 FG, 5-5 3P, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals [at Gilbert]

The 6-5 lead guard seemingly has a game every week that could land him on this list, a nightly triple-double threat. He had his highest scoring output of the season against Gilbert while still impacting the game in the multitude of different ways that he always does. With his size, handles, vision, and change of pace, he's really difficult to defend at this level.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731820' first='Dallas' last='McDowell'] (Harlan) -- 32 points (9-18 FG, 5-8 3P, 9-11 FT), 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks [vs. Clarinda]

Harlan is having a down year, but McDowell continues to produce at a high level, especially as a scoring threat. He's versatile, capable of playing with or without the ball in his hands, and can explode for 30+ on any given night, as he did against the Cardinals.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2717164' first='Henry' last='Stremlow'] (Assumption) -- 29 points (10-20 FG, 2-3 3P, 7-10 FT), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals [at North Scott]

A quick 6-0 guard who can put pressure on opposing teams with his speed and toughness, Stremlow looked to attack early and often against the bigger Lancers, getting to the free-throw line 10 times to help buoy his 29-point outing.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2886875' first='Jacoby' last='Johnson'] (Vinton-Shellsburg) -- 28 points (10-21 FG, 5-8 3P, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds (9 offensive), 3 assists, 2 steals [at Jesup]

The Vikings, given everything they had coming back from a team that played well at the end of last season, have had a unexpectedly poor season, but Johnson had a great game against the J-Hawks with a 28-point, 13-rebound double-double. Most impressive was his nine offensive rebounds, routinely grabbing valuable extra possessions.

2026 C [player_tooltip player_id='2413531' first='Cael' last='LaFrentz'] (Decorah) -- 20 points (6-18 FG, 8-9 FT), 21 rebounds, 1 assist, 8 blocks [vs. Solon]

The 6-10 big man didn't have his usual hyper efficient shooting game against Solon in a neutral site battle at the Casey's Center, but he knocked down a pair of free throws late in regulation to force overtime, then helped lift the Vikings to an upset win that may start to catapult them as we reach postseason play soon. Anytime you have someone capable of blocking eight shots and putting up 20 + 20, you'll have a chance.

2026 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2926177' first='Landon' last='Myers'] (Boone) -- 19 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3P, 3-4 FT), 18 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Carlisle]

An intriguing 6-7 big man who I think may be just starting to scratch the surface of his potential, Myers is a player that I think smaller colleges should be taking a long look at. He carves out space in the paint, has great hands and competes on the glass, and has a frame that he can still continue to add some strength to as well as the ability to step out and knock down an occasional 3.
