[player_tooltip player_id='2492448' first='Ashton' last='Wilbur'] has gone from talented young guard to a player who's actively tilting games. His production from freshman year at Mercyhurst Prep to sophomore at Cathedral Prep has increased significantly. He has truly become a complete scorer who scores at all three levels. He is the type of defender that turns hustle plays into points. Big moments in games don't intimidate him. I see big things coming for him over his next few years at Cathedral Prep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427346' first='Ahmari' last='Horton'] has taken a huge jump this season, marked by his recent 43 point effort that broke the Cathedral Prep single-game scoring record. He gets his shots off quickly, has probably the best mid-range game in District 10, and also has plenty of range beyond the arch. Defensively, he is solid and his speed is an excellent fit for Prep's full court press. His leadership skills have grown, which will be needed next season as Prep graduates several senior starters.

Willie Shunk is one of the best big men in District 10. He dominates the paint in every aspect of the game. He owns the offensive glass, converts putbacks, and turns missed shots into points. He finishes well in traffic and he changes shots at the rim without having to gamble defensively. On February 3, he went over 1000 points for his career, and Shunk has also recently committed to Penn State Behrend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2793294' first='Landen' last='Carter'] is a pure scorer. His pace is a step above the competition and he has exceptional basketball IQ. Carter is completely dominating the competition, highlighted by erupting for 47 points in an 86–50 Region 2 win over Cambridge Springs in December. He combines deep range with an aggressive downhill approach when he hits the lane. While he scores in bunches, Carter also distributes, averaging around 5 assists per game. He has recently eclipsed the 1000 point mark for his career.

While [player_tooltip player_id='3038791' first='Jeremiah' last='Nixon'] is a young player, he is playing like a true lead guard. He is averaging around 15 points per game as a sophomore. He is quick, shows athletic pop, and combines that with a consistent shot and quick release. As the year has progressed, he has become the floor general for the Tigers who knows how to get his teammates the ball ready to score. He recently put up 20 points in an overtime win over rival Hickory.
