There have been a lot of players taking the junior jump this season, and many of them being guards who are a bit overlooked for one reason or another. Here's a look at six wings from the Central/Souther/Western VA area that are on the come up and coaches should take a look at!

[player_tooltip player_id='2348972' first='Colton' last='Davis'] | 6'3” SG | Liberty Christian Academy

Davis emerged over the summer as a player we wanted to keep an eye on, and he's consistently shown that he's an absolute sniper from deep and someone coaches should be getting on this summer. The 6'3” off guard has a good build that should trim down and get more athletic when he gets into a college weight and conditioning program, he moves well off the ball and reads screens well to get open, he sets his feet and has a quick release from deep, and he has a high IQ on both ends of the floor as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815299' first='Ashton' last='Cornett'] | 6'4” SG | Cave Spring

Cornett was part of a young Cave Spring team last year that is starting to find their stride this year, and he's a very intriguing prospect with a lot of upside moving forward. At 6'4” he has great positional size and is an above average athlete that allows him to rebound well and defend multiple positions, he can put it on the deck and get to spots in the midrange and get to the rim, and he can knock down open shots off the catch from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548299' first='Isaiah' last='Savage'] | 6'2” SG | Saint Michael

Savage is one of the more intriguing long term guys on this list, as he's an absolute freak of an athlete, he's young for his grade, and he is just scratching the surface with how good he can be. While he's only 6'2” he has long arms and plays so far above the rim it will blow your mind, he can catch lobs and put-backs easily, he has really improved in his ability to get to spots off the bounce, and he is great shooting passing lanes and protecting the rim too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815333' first='Baur' last='Lloyd'] | 6'3” SG | Blue Ridge

Lloyd is in a good position at Blue Ridge where he isn't the go-to guy, but he's able to impact the game as a shooter and as a defender which is what he projects to be at the next level moving forward. The 6'3” off guard drills it off the catch at a very high clip from deep, he can handle and create space in the midrange to make tough shots, he moves his feet well and has great instincts defensively, and he makes the right play consistently too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399485' first='Samuel' last='Seaborn'] | 6'4” SG | Western Albemarle

Seaborn is one of the more efficient players you will come across, as he has a total scoring package and is able to hang a lot of points while not really needing the ball in his hands much. He is an absolute sniper from deep who doesn't need a ton of time to get his shot off, he can attack closeouts and uses his size well to finish at the rim, he makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, and he's very sound on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470581' first='Antonio' last='Mack'] | 6'2” SG | North Cross

Mack has put up huge numbers in his now two and a half years at North Cross, and he's a big reason they'll have a chance to make a run at a state championship this year. While he's only 6'2” he has arms that go on forever, he's a super athletic finisher above the rim, he can create his own shot and score it from multiple levels, and he is a very good rebounder for his position too.
